News: Trade Scenario- Coop to Baltimore for Peters and a 3rd?

I take this and run with it. Peters and a 3rd? Peters can be a headache but with he and Diggs you’re getting 16 ints per season right there on average. I’ve said that Diggs reminds me of Peters without the drama of course.

what do you think?

I would much rather trade and get something in return than flat out releasing Cooper. Other trade talks I support those as well.

Same. I’m trying to do this with Dlaw too. The problem is we always show our cards too early……

I almost think they would be lucky to just get the third-round pick for Cooper. I see a good free agency market for Cooper but not so much of a trade market unless a team like Cleveland wants him and knows he won’t sign there as a free agent.

Any pick or player for Cooper is a win for Dallas. It's like wanting to unload a ticket for the maiden voyage of the Titanic - any price you fetch is good. Same for Zeke and DLaw.

- Nope,... much rather have the pick alone

- Diggs is our lead CB, and the one we'll be the most committed to in our secondary, - and we've already made and invested a high draft pick per 2nd rd) comittment to Joseph,
so i would think the team would like to see how that develops out next to Diggs, ........ vs a high dollar vet contract and excessive drama.

Cooper for Peters straight up would be a blessing for Dallas. Cooper's perceived value isn't fully justified, since his availability isn't close to 100%.

Can someone explain why trading amari Cooper would cost $6 million in dead money? I have never understood that.

he’s missed 2 games in 3 and a half years lol that’s pretty damn close to 100%

That doesn't account for the games where he doesn't show up with 100% performance. They typically come when we're on the road.

Anyone who thinks we need a corner to the point where they write about it doesn't know this roster.

So, take it's legitimacy for what it is.

Personally I don't think Cooper is going to return more than a 3rd maximum, but we are gonna feel him not being here.

As I said in another thread......his worth is less than his value, if that makes any sense.
