As I continue to look at the top prospects in the first round, the more I am on the side that we should attempt to trade back in the draft. This is by no means me saying that I would be disappointed if we don't, there are some quality prospects in the top 5. I am just not seeing a "Can't miss" prospect. So, looking at teams we could trade with.

The benefit that comes with this years 4th round pick is, I'm almost positive a team with a QB need immediately will value that spot. We will have the leverage here, especially if one of these teams value the top QB prospects highly.

The first would obviously be San Fran, I'm not entirely sure if San Fran would be willing to trade up since the top QBs wouldn't be in danger of being drafted with Jags and Ravens having the 5th and 6th picks in the draft. But San Fran may worry that by not offering a trade, we may draft a QB ourselves. At that point, two of the best QB prospects will have been taken (The other being taken by the Browns)

I would not be surprised if we got some offers from teams outside of the top 10, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Rams are all in need of QBs. The ideal situation would be for the Bears to offer us a trade, they are not only in need of a QB, but a pass rusher as well. Moving back from 4 to 11, while picking up an extra second would still put us in a spot to grab a top prospect in the first while addressing two needs in the second (RB, WR, DT, LB, or CB)

Should be an interesting first day in the draft. I'm excited to see how it all goes down.

It all depends on if we want a QB or not. If not there is a good chance ila worthwhile opportunity will be there. And if so I think thats what we need to do if they dont go QB at #4. There is simply no true top 5 talent in this draft. The guys we would be drafting at 4 arent the cornerstone players you want at position. There are going to be alot of Dion Jordan and Jonathan Cooper like reaches at the top quarter of this draft. I really hope we arent the team to make one. IMO at 4 QB will actually be BPA

The way I think it's going to shake out....

I think the Titans take Tunsil, Browns take Lynch ( whom I think will pull ahead during private workouts) , 49ers will trade up with the Chargers and take Goff. That leaves us with Wentz at 4 as either the pick or bait. If we decide no in Wentz, I would hope the Bears would be a partner. In that senario, Im looking at either Noah Spence or Jaylon Smith. Id even take them of Bosa and Jack were still on the board

I'm not moving unless someone blows my socks off. There are 4 studs in this draft IMO....Jack, Bosa, Lynch and Stanley. I'm getting one of those.;)

I would be okay with us taking Jack. Bosa, I'm not as down on as I was before, but I still don't consider him a "stud". The tape of him getting dominated by a good OL made me worry about his play translating to the NFL. I don't think there is any chance we grab Stanley.

This is my line of thinking as well. The closest in my opinion is Jack, and I'm not too high on him either. I think if we trade back to say 11, there is a good chance one of the top CB prospects will be there. If Hargreaves slips a little, 11 would be great value, or Alexander should be there.

I'm all for trading back in this draft if the they don't see any of the QB's worth the investment.

I like Hargreaves if we are talking 11. I really like Noah Spence at spot, but I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up getting drafted over Bosa. Jack or Jaylon Smith could be solid picks at 11 as well, even with the knee injury I prefer Smith

If Tunsil drops to #4 I take him. I don't mind a small trade down if it is somewhere in the Robinson,Billings,Tredwell or Elliot range.

I think we will either take a QB or TRY to trade back. You not only get better bang for the buck, more equivalent value with the pick, but additional pick or picks AND save salary cap space as well. That is pretty much a win, win, win scenario.

the problem with trading back is finding a partner...the more desperate, the better....

This is the draft to move back in..

If we absolutely don't want a QB I got to believe someone would give up a ton for a QB.

Stanley and Lynch?

I don't think the phones will be burning up with trade up offers this year.

I don't see many trades involving the top ten or fifteen picks in the first round. After that, we might see a more than usual trade action. Especially in the early 2nd and 3rd rounds.
