In my day, we ripped the head off the QB Day 1 in camp and the training staff screwed it back on by lunch time. That's the way it was and we liked it!

The first few days of training camp these days are pretty much like a mini camp. It takes almost a full week before they put on the pads.

The dead money is excellent. Those last three base salaries ($54 million of the deal) is money he will never see. He either will be extended or restructured in 2026 when his dead cap hit would be $8.5 million and it would cost nearly $20 million to keep him. It's most likely that the dead cap hit will be higher than that, though, because we'll probably convert some of his base next year to bonus (that money's already guaranteed anyway).

Pappy, I know you can't stand Dak, but that's probably where they intended for that pass to be thrown. Pollard was coming out of the backfield to settle into a spot. Prescott threw the ball to his inside to allow him to turn upfield. I don't think he was throwing him to the sideline.
