Training Camp

Can they rescind the tag as well? :muttley:
I know Pollard signed, but $10 million still too much.

I don't think Barkley even signed his tag offer.
So what would you have done at the RB position this year?

Yes, just like we will see how Dak looks or ANY other starting QB.

At the moment I am looking forward to seeing how he and the rest of the roster looks at the first practice of camp at 10:30 a.m, on July 26th, on Ray Nitschke Field.
AS long as Dak looks like he usually does leading the #1 scoring offense in the NFL, then we should be good to go.

"We"? What jersey number do you wear for the Cowboys?

I don't even say "we" and I will be at a shareholders meeting in a few days. I also have a vote on who gets on the Packers Board Of Directors. Have bled Green and Gold since birth. But when discussing the roster itself I don't say "we."

To each their own though. Every fan base is different. I just cringe a little when I see the "we" stuff from fans when discussing the roster. You must be disgusted when Skip Bayless pretends it's his team. I know I would be if I were a Cowboys fan.

Sorry, just my opinion on saying "we" as opposed to saying the Cowboys when discussing the roster.

Not sure which CowboysZone member wears what jersey but I can tell you that #4 jerseys have been ripped to shreds for years now. And one #9 jersey got shredded during a pickleball game last October.

Certain jerseys are an endangered species here on CowboysZone.

Get out of Zeke contract which they did. Even Zeke fans know it was too huge of a cap hit, regardless if anyone thought he was still serviceable or not. I said that back in March as well.

Let Pollard test FA market with his injury. No one would have signed him, because of the injury, then offer him a lesser contract. If the draft did not fall their way to get a RB.

Or as now available, sign Dalvin Cook of equal or less than Pollard. But that of course is hindsight. So if no tag on Pollard. They would be in a situation to try to sign either.

There were loads of options, good ones in FA this year to be had. I would have offered Pollard a 2 year deal at about 5 million per. If he didnt take it I would have gone after Jammal Williams and Deonte Foreman. Could had both for less than 4 million each. Then I go into the draft and take a RB in rounds 3 or 4 and be done with it.

I want 3 good backs and Williams, Foreman, 3rd round back would have been a ton of firepower. Or Pollard, Williams, Foreman. Either way you get 3 strong backs for 10 million or under.

Wont like half of Wisconsin be at that meeting? Everyone’s a shareholder

Apologies
It's all good. I don't attend the meeting every year. If there is a vote, you can vote without attending the meeting.

One reason I decided to go this year is to get a first look at some of the upgrades, including the new 4K LED video boards just installed at Lambeau. They just finished a $350 million project that included upgrades to facilities, upgrades to the concourses at Lambeau, underground parking for players, and new coaches offices.

They still paying for Zeke. 11.x milllion in dead cap.

I think the tag deadline is soon. They must have doubts about
Pollards leg. It was a freak injury.

It feels like this is their best position for now.

Not everyone, but there are usually about 40K that attend the shareholders meeting each year.

There are 537,000 shareholders and 6 million people in Wisconsin. So not near "half."
Except in the winter where there’s only 1 million in Wiscantsin.

Is "Wiscantsin'" how you pronounce it? No teeth? Or some other issue?

Winters are great in Wisconsin. Best 4 seasons on the planet. I was in Dallas for the 2011 Super Bowl. Colder and more ice than in Wisconsin. Great week though, that had nothing to do with Dallas.

A pleasure to see the Packers raise the Lombardi in Dallas. The Cowboys have never raised any trophy anywhere since that stadium was built.

Well, the Packers have sucked for awhile as well and now will continue to suck.

Well, if the Packers have "sucked", then your Cowboys who the Packers have owned for a while have been the biggest joke in the NFL.

So, the Cowboys are now suddenly great and all is well? And you think the Packers will suck because they shipped one player to the Jets and got a nice return?

Again, I remember another time we shipped one player to the Jets and many like you said the Packers would suck.

I know a Packers fan being here bothers and confuses you. You are desperately wanting to claim some superiority, but at every turn you realize the Packers are actually superior.

Good luck this season. I see Cowboys fans have claimed another offseason Championship.

Go home Packer fan, this is a Cowboys house, you are welcome here in hostile territory if you show some respect at the door like @Aerolithe_Lion, a die hard Eagles fan, but he shows respect at the door.

Doesn’t confuse me, it just reeks of desperation.

over look the rock, he's our resident drunk.
No worries, I get that some "fans" are an embarrassment to the fan base.

Most of the "Packers Fans" you will find that are embarrassments online are really Bears and Vikings fans who are pretending to be Packers fans in an attempt to try and make Packers fans look bad.

Yes, they are really that level of pathetic.
