Travesty of Officiating

The only thing that really got me, really made me mad was the offensive lineman throwing a pick downfield... that was infuriating.
This one and Beasley face mask were crap. Easy call to make when the lineman block Lee 8yds down field before the ball even got to the receiver.

I still can't understand how a team gets set, in formation, with twelve men on the field and not get a penalty. I don't care if you're subbing or not the center is over the ball.
The official actually blew the play dead which eliminated even the possibility of them getting called for too many men. That was one of the worst, most lopsided officiated games that I can recall...and I'm pretty old.

im not big on complaining about officials, but the better team was Dallas and all of a sudden Dallas is getting penalized constantly and nothing is called against the desperate home team? Doesnt make sense. There were constant plays let go that Pittsburgh could have been called on.

Officiating was a mess but a lot of those flags we deserved. Glad we got our heads together & overcame them.

You are right about that, but my problem was the calls missed against the Steelers. Cole Beasley had his neck twisted by a facemask and Lance Dunbar was mugged and held about 40 yards downfield on a punt return. How can "professional" officials miss that?

The fix was in. Only way to explain it. Total screw job. From the 35 yards of holding of Dunbar on the punt return to Beasley having his face ripped off with no call to the several pancake blocks that were called against us. Refs on the take. Period.

The officiating was poor but just to be fair............. on Elliott's long TD catch, we had an illegal man downfield and it was pretty obvious. Leary (I think it was him) was 5 yards down field before Elliott even caught the ball. So we got some gifts too.

The missed holding call on Dunbar is inexcusable...period. BUT, the non-call on Beasley just can't happen. It is literally a good way to get someone paralyzed or killed. It doesn't matter who did that or who they play for, that can't happen.
Agree man!! He practically twisted Beasley's Head off and no call!! Some of the holding calls were a joke and then you watch the steelers mugging our guys and no call.

The first half had questionable calls. The second half was downright pathetic. Who's got a vid of the Dunbar non-penalty. That one needs to be sent to the league by Dallas.

I know that Troy has to try to be unbiased, but he was over the top today. Every call against us was right on, & the calls against the Steelers, well, he just didn't see most as fouls . Come on, bro, call it both ways.

They aren't on the take and calls usually even out over time . Also most of the truly bad calls are there to make sure the game stays competitive and TV viewers don't tune out - meaning advertising revenue continues to roll into the NFL.

But clearly the Steelers and Patriots get special treatment, today was no exception.
You know I think your right and your point about keeping the games close is really sad but I think it's true. What does that say about the N.F.L.?

The Martin holding call was ludicrous. I even thought one of the Leary holds was iffy, at best. But then they miss the Dunbar molestation. I think Dunbar is going to need psychological therapy after that.

Funny how Troy wanted all of the calls against Dallas, but against Pittsburgh? Mums the word.

YR
i have never seen them review a non-call before.
