This kid looks like the best lineman weve had since Larry Allen.

After pushing that pile for the TD, he needs a nickname -- "Bull Moose" or something. Geez what a strong dude.

Just the fact that he did that... Was determined to do that while two defenders were trying keep him out. Kudos!

Nickname - "Tonka" lol

Frederick and Smith =center and left tackle= 2 key positions on offensive line=2 young players next 12 years=good job by Cowboys on drafting key positions on offensive line

I have been very pleased with the picks of Frederick and Williams. They've both produced well for us thus far. We need some more out of Escobar now though as well.

I just don't see how much people expect him to produce as a third TE in a team that has Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, Demarco Murray, and 3 other wide receivers that are clutch.. Escobar is probably the last read on the play, unless it's a TE post.

This is all true. I would like to see the team find more ways to use him is really what I'm getting at. I'm not saying it's all on him. I would just like to see some more from him is all.

The man (Gurode) made multiple Pro Bowls for the Cowboys from the Center position. Don't know what is so suspect with that.

John Fitzgerald is the only center I mentioned that never made a Pro Bowl.

Gurode was one of the best centers the Cowboys have ever had.

Gurode was one of the most physically dominant centers in the NFL for a while, but it took him a very long time to understand the mental side of the game. Those few years where he "got it" before his agility started to decline he was considered by most to be top 3 in the NFL, if not the very best.

What makes Frederick so exciting is the fact that he's grasped the mental aspect of the game so well as a rookie while also being one of the biggest and strongest players at his position.

Overreaction Mondays, gotta love em. The dude is good, but c'mon, let's tap the breaks just a tad.

Bite me (us)! Everyone wants to be negative around here so when a little positive comes in here you have to try and stomp on it? How about you go to some other board and let us enjoy some enthusiasm for once.

Let's all tap the breaks here.

This is a Cowboy board and regardless of positives or negatives, all Cowboys Fans are welcome here until they do something that facilitates their exit.

I don't always agree with opinions and lord knows, many don't always agree with mine but lets not invite people to leave this board.

We are going to need those folks once we win the Super Bowl!

Ok... but it really burns me up when people jump on posters who are excited about the team that we are all supposed to be rooting for but shoot venemous barbs at anyone who disagree's with their disparaging remarks... my apologies. I still reserve the right to enjoy this win... :D

Well, you have to understand that the fan base has been waiting a long time and it's not easy to just buy in after you've been burned a lot of times.

We will see if this is just another one of those wasted efforts on behalf of the Fan Base or if we really are a team that might make noise.

Long time coming on the later. I too hope you can enjoy the win.

I've been a fan for about 36 years so I've been burned as much as any but when an opportunity comes along to enjoy something... we should all roll with it just like everyone moans when something is bad. Too much negativity makes you old... you know?

Who would you like to see him take catches away from?

One problem was that BP wanted a quicker center and a bigger guard and left Gurode at guard till 06 and he was NEVER a very good guard. Like the shot gun snaps the idea that Gurode could not make calls was more urban legend then reality. If he had been as bad as some claim here he would have been replaced years ago.
