Travis Frederick looks like best lineman since Larry Allen

This kid looks like the best lineman weve had since Larry Allen.

After pushing that pile for the TD, he needs a nickname -- "Bull Moose" or something. Geez what a strong dude.

How about " Bulldozer". He certainly looked like he was bulldozing the pile into the end zone.

Wished we would have signed him 3 years ago. We would be much further along right now but no matter. It's better now then it was this same time last year.

I wish so as well.

But, he's not the best O-Lineman on the team.

Just check out the GIF, that wasn't about upper body strength, he was driving that pile with his legs, like pistons in an engine.
The knock on him was that he didn't have quick feet, but by the looks of him, once he plants there aren't gonna be many people that will be able to bull rush him.

Has nothing to do with Frederick, and I'm not trying to knock him in anyway, but Tyron Smith is our best o lineman. 22 year olds don't play LT in the NFL the way he has. He's a special talent that is only going to get better.

Again, nothing against Fred before anyone throws a fit.

Isn't it refreshing to hear arguments over who our best O lineman is vs. years of debating who is the worst?

Actually, good lateral movement to reach blocks and I still think that's probably true but he's very good moving guys who are right in front of him. JMO

Were you planning to back up that wildly inaccurate claim with an argument? Because I don't know how you can rank him over Fred or Free.

It's patently obvious. He's the only guy getting to the second level consistently.

But all five are playing well.

Smith is the best lineman since Allen, and this might be the best unit since the '95 team- much of that credit has to go to the drafting of the bearded one.

You know your OLine is damn good when you have posters arguing for 4 different linemen being the best on the line.

Sorry, as excited as I am for the rook, lets not put him ahead of Flozell Adams just yet.

And I think I'd still give Tyron Smith the title of most likely to be dominant.

Even Andre Gurode had a bunch of good years playing guard then switching to center.

Smith gave up 2 hurries and 0.4 penalties. Free gave up 3 hurries and 0.4 penalties. Witten and Randle were attributed 1 hit. The gang gave up 8 hurries, 2 hits and NO sacks. Romo should get some points for avoiding a few at least one. Witten and Free were the only ones to have negative numbers in pass blocking. Free graded best overall and the only one in the green for run blocking. All the OL but Smith were in the green for overall performance at 1.2 to Free's 1.8. Smith was graded at -0.2. Again not my numbers but PFF and I didn't read the entire thread so forgive if a repost of the same data.
