Trent Richardson to the Colts

My neighbor is a Browns fan and he hasn't been impressed with Richardson. I for one wouldn't draft a RB that early unless he looked like AP.

DeCastro does not look a lot better than Weeden, honestly.

Blasphemy. You can't say negative things about DeCastro on this board. He is a future HOFer who we missed out on. You are supposed to rue and recognize his future HOF career. Get with the program.

Trading a running back is not the same thing as not drafting a running back

I don't know, if someone offered us a first-rounder for our starting RB, I'd take it in an instant. And I like Murray.

I get what you are saying, i just meant because of their constant building process. They start again at the middle of something.

Welp obviously the Clowns have their eyes on Teddy Bridgewater, but no way J Ville gives up that pick.

I live in Cleveland and the locals are furious! Most of the media like the move and weren't that impressed with Richardson. Most of the fans are ticked that the Browns are giving up this season after only 2 games. The buzz with Norv and their revamped defense a lot of people thought they could have made the playoffs this season.

Why are the Colts focusing on running the ball is my question....

Heck they should've just signed McGahee.

Colts will go 8-8 this year. Browns were gonna stink with or without Richardson might as well get a mid round first for him

Wow, that's a pretty self-deluded fan base. Thank God Cowboys fans don't wildly overestimate their team's prospects.

Play-action.

You should invest your top resources for the passing game and stopping the passing game.

Burning a first rounder on Richardson isn't a good move because I just don't think he's worth it.

Unless you're getting Peterson for a 1 there are cheaper ways to build a stout running game

They made a mess of that whole pick from the very beginning.
I recall thinking then and there that someone is getting fied for this.

They trade up one spot from 4 to 3 to get him when they didn't have to.
In the process they give Minnesota...get this...the 4th overall, plus their 4th rounder, plus their 5th rounder, plus their 7 th rounder. For no reason.
They took a player of his quality and position WAY too early.

Then after just one season they trade him for what certain to be a late or very late 1st rounder.
I don't blame for the trade now, but the whole deal from the beginning until now has been a huge value drain.

Yes they are! My Facebook feed blows up with Browns fans after they win a meaningless preseason game lol. They are in desperate need for a winner and since they have been back in 1999 they have only made the playoffs once. At least with us we have 5 Super Bowls to lean on :)

It would be great if they got the top pick and Bridgewater went back to school.

This may be one time where a trade is bad for both teams, though the Browns end up ahead looking at the future.

How you give up on a top three pick after a little over a year is beyond me. Look, I wouldn't have drafted Richardson that high myself. Not enough bang for the buck in today's NFL.

To give up a first to take him is utterly stupid on the Colts part. They still have a ton of holes (need help on the OL, secondary sucks, need more impact players upfront), and are not one player away from a championship. Signing McGahee would have made more sense.

Not to mention that the Browns get out of over $6 million in guaranteed money that the Colts now eat.

As for the Browns, way to give up on the season two games in when your division has never been worse (Steelers and Ravens are bad this year).
