It's amazing how every player that shows up punk like Diggs, or stinks up the joint like Duck Prescott, has a cadre of fans making excuses, or trying to pass the blame buck. We even have some Jerry stans still trying to make excuses for the "football man".
I believe I have the answer to Prescott's lousy play last night. It's the cleats he was sporting! The dude's feet looked way too small for his body.....LOL! I was rolling last night when I noticed that his feet looked really fricking small as he was attempting to pass the ball. Prescott needs to switch over to WHITE cleats and leave the BLUE ones in his locker.

For all diggs fans. He's been in the NFL for 5 years. Name me one time he showed the aggression towards an opponent like he did in this practice. Not multiple times, just 1.

SOFTTTTT! same goes for micah and bland too

^^that's the diggs opponents get lol. Cuddling with a receiver

It's too bad the Cowboys, from Jerry to the players, have far more fight in them when it comes to media people than they do on the football field.

They are all smiles on the sidelines when the beat down is in full force like Parsons and Lamb, and many others throughout the last 20 years. Getting blown out doesn't phase them. It's party on the sidelines time, because who gives a **** when you got that big bag of cash!

They got no fight for guys like Kittle who wear **** Dallas shirts to rub it in their faces. But, oh yeah! They got a lot of fight in them for social media!

Someone being honest with themselves would say Diggs sucked.

Someone not being honest with themselves would say any of the following:

That wasn't his worst play of the game.
He was better than he was last game.
He thought someone else was going to make the play.
Other players were worse than him on that play.

Anything as long as Diggs doesn't have to accept any accountability whatsoever.
LOL. So where else in the NFL would Diggs be held accountable?

I'll tell you where............. nowhere. It's like you guys are trapped in the 70s or have this utopian belief that back in the day everyone tried hard. That's not today's NFL. It's just not. Even the Chiefs have guys that you could point out dogged it on a play.

If you are waiting for the Cowboys, or any NFL team for that matter, to field a roster of 53 guys that play all out every single play, you'll be waiting a long time. Diggs is what he is. You cut him tomorrow, there would be a bunch of teams kicking and fighting to add him to their roster.

I get why trevon was mad tho. He actually played really well last night. He was also not shying away from contact. The reporter was wrong for trying to call him out on a play that he did not do anything wrong

Despicable effort deserved to be called out.

The issue isn’t if Diggs was dogging it or not, it’s why care about an opinion on X? Let it go, man. Comment wasn’t personal, and didn’t threaten family members, so why pay it any mind?

You look like a frustrated man that felt the urge to bow up, and you picked a target you can handle. Besides, he’s clearly uncomfortable with confrontation as he delivered his two mic drop lines while turning away from his accuser. A move that actually emboldens the person questioning his efforts.

The moral of the story, children, is to always confront those that make pointless comments about you regardless of how little of a role they play in your magnificent life.

Diggs pulled up in the pursuit. Then, tried to turn it back on when it was too late. That's what I saw.
yeah he did, I think he is afraid of kittle, he whiffed on a tackle of kittle in another SF game too.

I watched it several times and he could have cut kittle off but wanted no part of that.

Don't pay a lot of money to 1 dimensional players. We will do the same with Micah, who is not committed to stoping the run.

To be fair, that wasn't his man to cover and there were multiple Cowboy players who should have made the play ahead of Diggs.
To be fair, he saw the dude running with the ball and was jogging over. *** his effort and this entire team.

This thread isn't about Wilson and Hooker. It is about Diggs and his pathetic effort and worthless play. If you want to bash those guys have at it but to use them as an excuse for Diggs is just plain weak.
He didn’t have a clear path until the end so unless you think he should have been pushing through other guys who were closer then what can I say. It didn’t look like good effort for sure. Maybe he made a business decision. But id rather call him out on his coverage and when he is the guy that is supposed to make the play rather than the 5th guy who should have made it.

Bottom line is he is a soft corner on a team that can not stop the run.
