Coach Jerry isn't going to like being thrown under the bus by his own players.
Probably not. Isn’t today his radio spot?

I wonder if we are in “we need to take a long, hard look in the mirror” territory just yet. Maybe after Atlanta.

He's not lying ..........I said in another thread before the game the key to beating the 49ers is out-coaching Shanahan. Good example ......he had only two receivers Kittle and Deebo and we had only two Lamb and Fergurson. His play calling and designs had his receivers wide-open most of the game but our receivers locked up with the exception of a couple busted Lamb plays.

Hell, Shanahan won a playoff game hiding a QB he didn't trust........Jimmy Garroppolo had only passed for only 131 yards 2019 Div playoff win against the Vikes.

Funny how Micah doesn't remember that the defense sucked every bit as bad when he was ON the field
too many people gassing him up acting as if he was ON the field things would be different! We just need him back so bad lol

Two of the least coachable players on the team talking about making halftime adjustments. You seriously can't make this stuff up.

You may have issues with him but he didn't say anything fans, media and others haven't said, Shanahan out-coached Mike. That's nothing new...some are more focused on personal attacks.

Sad when "top players" have more respect for opposing staff than their own coaches. But that is the organization Jerry and Son have built.
Did Mike McCarthy use the Jaylon Smith tackle technique on that big play???

Diggs is a clown.

Dirty little money grubber who lets his own teammates down week after week rolling up and talking about half time adjustments. He is such a POS.

I'm simply wondering what happens at halftime in a Cowboy locker room. I suspected issues when Aubrey (who is not in the locker room for long) comes out and immediately kicks a ball out of bounds.

I saw crows and buzzards hanging around the team.
that's an odd conclusion. you think aubrey muffed a kick because of the lack of halftime coaching?

No I don't, just making a point about the roof caved in immediately at the start of the 2nd half and that 3rd quarter left wondering what happened during halftime with our TEAM. Relax, Aubrey is our team MVP.

Even i anticipated that the Cowboys would have to change up their defensive strategy for the 2nd half.

You just knew Shanahan was going to break the code and come out with an answer in the 2nd half.

There are many facets to being an NFL Head Coach and it's difficult to finds a coach that is good at everything.

They have to be excellent talent evaluators. just as important, they need to know how to use that talent to the maximum benefit of the team.

They have to be excellent personnel managers, assigning tasks and goals to his coaching staff, teaching them how to teach the players, installing his gameplan and ensuring that everybody understands their assignments.

An NFL coach has to be an excellent strategist, know how to attack his opponent, their weaknesses. He has to be innovative, develop new ideas. He has to have a plan, a philosophy on how to win in the NFL today.

They have to be excellent game time coaches, quick and successful decision makers in pressure situations.

Applying these standards to those HC's with multiple SB rings, we see that the majority of them were great in all areas. Where McCarthy stands among them seems a pretty one-sided debate at this particular point in time.

It's easy to make adjustments and have answers when you're a balanced team that has invested in the trenches. It's quite the opposite when you're riddled with holes and getting beat in the trenches. There's only so much adjusting you can do with smoke and mirrors.
