How it always goesYup, I hope he doesn’t need an additional year to return to form while playing, but it’s possible

Probably because of the swelling. Why did he wait?
Thanks for the knowledge! There is potential complications with early surgery such as arthrofibrosis, long-term lingering knee pain and weakness post surgery.
They also have to prepare the knee with pre-op rehab to restore the knee as close to 100% as possible. It needs to have full range of motion, no swelling, appropriate strength with leg control and can walk normally.
Bosa has 3 sacks in 5 games and has gone sackless in 3 of the 5, including the last two. Seems like he missing plenty of beats. Not saying he's not a good player.. but he absolutely is not all the way back to form yet.Joey Bosa tore his ACL and has not missed a beat.
Bosa was defensive player of the year last season and led the league in sacks. You talking about this season.Bosa has 3 sacks in 5 games and has gone sackless in 3 of the 5, including the last two. Uh no Joey Bosa missed 12 games last season and had 2.5 sacks.. He has also never been DPOY. You are confusing him with his brother Nick, who plays for the 49ers.Bosa was defensive player of the year last season and led the league in sacks. You talking about this season.
I meant Nick, sorry. He tore his ACL in 20. Came back in 21. Nicky started off slow then turned it on in at the end of 21. Last season was defensive player of the year. I honestly don't know what his injury was.. I just know he missed a lot of time last season and just assumed it was the ACL. I just looked it up.. it was a hamstring.. must have been a tear because no way a pulled hammie costs you 12 games!I meant Nick, sorry. He tore his ACL in 20. Came back in 21. Yeah Joey always has a mysterious injury. He has been injured more since he signed that big extension. The Bosa brothers make more then the Mannings ever did.I honestly don't know what his injury was.. I just know he missed a lot of time last season and just assumed it was the ACL. I dunno man.. them Manning boys got PAID and did so over a very long period of time. They are currently #1 (Eli $252 million) and #2 (Peyton $248 million) on the highest earnings in NFL history list. Throw in their ad revenue and I'd wager they're both over 300 mil .. We know a couple of the young bucks will soon surpass them in career earnings.. but it probably won't be any defensive player. It will be Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert or Allen. It's just a matter of who gets there first.Yeah Joey always has a mysterious injury. He has been injured more since he signed that big extension. The Mannings along with their father are a billion dollar business but they’re quarterbacks. The Bosa are meat head defensive ends.I dunno man.. them Manning boys got PAID and did so over a very long period of time. That was precisely how I read it. Thanks for the update. Also sorry, the good news I was referring to was no other ligament damage besides the ACL. Sometimes more problems are found once the doctors go in.
There is the physical recovery and the mental recovery. It’s fairly common for guys to take some time after a serious injury to get back to form. He’s been thru injury before so hopefully he gets back to form quicklyThat's good news. However, I think we've learned that recovery and returning to form isn't exactly the same timeline. He may struggle a little in the first half of the season but he should eventually return to form.
