not proven. but if it walks like a duck. sounds like a duck. looks like a duck. its a duck.

what he has shown to date in the NFL hasn't shown one single iota of evidence of any kind for anyone to think he can be elite.

if that's your argument. then it hasn't been proven Michael Simmons. a QB from University of XYZ is medicore. he is a longshot for sure.
Wait...im talking about his survival and you are arguing i said elite. Thats messed up.

At this point i consider him an egg, you wont know what it us till it hatches.

Why..you got some hyperbole going on, that I could spring back on you, but i wont.
Of course you cant put every single prospect on the field, or have unlimited time with them. I never said treys all pro or even that hes better than dak.

It would be best to stick with what i said....hes big unknown right now. Maybe he'l get a shot and do well....maybe not.

I happen to think a few are cheering his demise a liitle too enthusiasticaly.
It's called being realistic.

Trey talks about QB2 battle, and how he has learned over the past year. And how things are different between Dallas and SF.

"Lance has grown close with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and other players on the team as he gets settled into Dallas and settled into a shot at rewriting what his underperforming career has been to this point. With just two months sitting between now and Lance taking the field at training camp to begin that rewrite, he feels he's at the best he's been in his NFL career."

Sounds like Dak is taking him under his wings. This is what I am looking forward to the most in TC and the PS games.
For those that question Daks character and leadership abilities, this shows a lot. There are many a qbs littered through history who did not or would not mentor the player who could become their replacement.

Dak has never had a problem betting on himself though.

If he isnt mediocre, what is he?
again. you are saying he is. so I said. ok. Lance is medicore as well and in your own opinion you are changing one medicore QB with another.

but you are willing to argue that Lance is not medicore because we haven't seen him, yet we have and results suck. so your anti dak and hatred is blinding your judgement.

Trance is a bust trying to salvage his career as back up QB with zero experience.

What team wants a back up QB with less than 500 passing attempts their entire life - including HS, College and the NFL?

No it isnt. You are making up my narrative in your head and claiming its a fact. WRONG!

Let me be clear yet again...as i have many many times. Dak is a good qb, the type that can win a super bowl. But he chokes in big games, so i dont consider him elite. He rarely puts the team on his back and inspires and makes players better than what they actually are. My definition of elite.
Lance is a big unkown.

Thats it..youd think this would be easy but you keep trying to control the narrative making it complicated.just to fight on a message board.

I also noticed you did not answer a direct and simple question. That is typical deflection tactic.

If he has not hatched in 4 years, what makes you think he will?
He has not had four full years and you know it. Aint like he has started 4 full years and bombed.

Then when our guru qb coach makes him better you ridicule it.

You hate him for some reason. Odd.

change to what? change is good if its for the better. else you are just changing for the same thing, which is not the goal
Look, im not a Dak "hater" per say. Im just like most of us that have lived thru, and loved i might add, Romo and saw that after awhile its time to move on. Romo wasnt terrible. Dak is not terrible. But... they both did not take us to the promised land. Even if the "change" doesnt take us to the promised land immediately, whats the difference from then and now? Nothing. Soooooo.... thats the CHANGE im talking about.

and this is reasonable, the problem of course is will the change matter if the change that really needs to happen never happens...of course we are all prisoners here because the only hope we have is that a player/coach change matters when i think the majority of us are comming to the truth that...the problem will remain...

How did he make him better?

I hated the trade for a great athlete pretending to be a QB.

It was a waste of draft capital, a waste of money and in a couple of months, you will come to realize it was also a waste of time.
