I’ll grant you that.
That part just isn't known. He could hang around for 4 seasons at reduced salary and actually become a true NFL leader with high skills that are in rhythm and strong accuracy. He's not just a dud man in sports here and now.

He’s learning from some good coaching now so he should improve. Next preseason is going to be fun to watch.

Lol, 2nd round value through Dallas' scouts and coaches.
If the Scouts and coaches knew then, what they know able him now, he probably would have gone undrafted. No team would draft a QB that takes 4 years to delvelop.

My speculation is that Jerry didn’t care a lick about MM when he got Lance. Reclamation and injury projects are an addiction of his with little regard for the opinions of anyone else in many cases including this one.

They got rid of him because they couldn’t keep him without a media storm every time Purdy plays bad.

Even when Purdy has played bad this season fans immediately had Lance regret.
