well, 50/50. some of out picks from 4th round
Fehoko
Ferguson
Gholston
Robinson
Michael Jackson
Armstrong
Schultz
Switzer
Prescott
Wilson

so its 10% chance hitting on a good QB (lets face it, that's all he is going to be, I doubt if he is elite because if he was, by now everyone would know).

or more 50% chance of hitting on some good starters.
So why not give Trey a try? He's as good a chance as any other chance, right?
I mean eventually Dak will go one way or another, right? So we better fin try in the meantime.

San fran gave 3 1st round picks for him...nobody calling THEM out.

We give a 4th and we're idiots? Abomination?

Makes no sense.

IMHO, he is nothing but at best an average QB. if he was Elite, he would already been able to cease things in SF. so at best he is an average player. and everyone on this board cries about not having an elite QB and esentially pre-requisite for this team to be able to compete. so lets give him a try, to reach averageness and end up with same results? for the position everyone says is the most important position on a team?

SF screwed up. but you know what they called it sunk cost and moved on. we tend to just hold on, just in case, maybe just a chance for it to work out. we do that with all our players.

we are idiots. all you have to do is look at the results. you think anyone but an idiot could achieve being one of the worst performing post season teams in league history in the past 30 years?. it takes a special kind of idiot.

That was Purdy that got the opportunity because of injuries, not Lance. Garappolo was still healthy when Lance was named the starter.
Yes...sorry i was not clear on it...Purdy of course...got his job in the same way Dak did.

Dak was certainly not the better QB in 2016. More healthy? Sure. A "streak" of sorts?...sure. Not better.

Same thing with Purdy. in most ways.

We need to do diligence with Trey. We either have something or we don't...but find out first.

No....not "everyone" cries about having elite QB. Paying non-elite elite money might be a problem for some.

I just don't get why some people make up falsehoods to validate their argument.

And Trey hasn;t played out just yet. We haven;t double down with him like we do so many. I don;t get why he doesn;t get...if not your support but your patience about it. He is a Dallas Cowboy...are your for the players or not?

I thought Purdy got injured and it was way more serious than the injuries that Trance had.

If trance beat out Garoppolo then he should have been a legit back up for the next few years.

Why was there a need to sign Darnold to a $4.5M as a back up QB.

lmao this is it man...how is it not an abomination they gave away THREE first round picks for ONE fourth round pick in return.

we are not missing out on anything, we have an unknown at back-up QB which could be a blessing in disguise or nothing - none of those starters in the 4th round offered much other than Dak and the only reason is because Dak is a QB

If you read into the articles that have recently come out they got rid of Trey because of the relationship he had with some teammates and the fact that he was breathing down Brocks neck which they didn't want.

They almost benched Brock for Tom Brady - so keep that in mind too.

dumb and dumber were at the pre-draft interview and stumbled through it as usual. They looked like they had eaten 10 lemons when mccarthy started to talk. the whole thing is that they know nothing about football trades jerry eithier because of his age or his stupid dealing traded for lance and he already has showed his savy with the cooper trade or should i say debacle of a trade. when it all comes down to the lance trade san fran. saw a sucker in jerry and took advantage of it that's all

it doesn't matter if he turns out good, you will be in here hating on him because he stole your dakies job. shrugs.
You don't become an NFL QB by playing 1 year in college. However GM Jethro and some of our fans can't comprehend that.

yeah, I'm with you. I hate him because he might end up with dak's job one day. That pisses me off. "I hate him too"
