Tried to tell you about Roy Williams

As mentioned in prior posts, Roy Williams is and always will be a coach killer who has no desire to maximize his potential. He will always take the easy way out and never give maximum effort. The man is not a winner and never will be. He was the ring leader for a group of prima donnas at Texas who caused the Longhorns to play in big games much like the Cowboys did today. It's not a coincidence that the Horns rallied around a real leader the minute Williams graduated and went on to win back-to-back Rose Bowls. Sorry to break it to you, but if you think he will ever be more than he showed this season, you are dead wrong.

I can't blame this loss on Roy Williams... I blame this loss on the coaching staff and the owner for bringing in clowns like Pacman Jones!

The cowboys have bigger problems than Roy Williams dude..

Sure there are other problems, but trust me when I say you do not want guys like Roy Williams on your team if you have hopes of winning championships. Many on this board still think it was a good trade and that Roy will become a top-shelf receiver, but they are sorely mistaken.

lmao wow
the cowboys have bigger problems than roy,pacman and whoever else you wanna blame
cowboys=joke
they need leadership and to play with heart
its ridiculous to lose like that tonight

I never claimed Roy is the biggest problem on the team.

Well if people would stp bringing their love for the Longhorns into the NFL and watch a Lion game once in awhile they would see that Roy Williams and number 1 option dont go together like Romo and clutch dont go together.

I was one of the first to say Roy Williams and Texas players are soft and now it's all out there, it's true.

No question Williams has been a disappointment but the loss today comes down to turnovers and no tackling (1and no number 2 receiver). The season however was lost due to injuries.

Roy Williams is a good player. Why he couldn't get involved more than he did in lowly Detroit is squarely the coaching staff's fault.

I still say we should've gotten Houshmandzadeh or Boldin, though...I wasn't saying it here because I wasn't a member yet, but over on some other sites I was pushing for TJ big time.

I don't think it's necessarily true now, but there's no doubt that the 2000-2003 Longhorns were as soft as an infant's stool, and Roy Williams was their pied piper.

Bill Parcells, when he was asked about Texas players, he mentioned that they are soft. If I am not mistaken, he was talking about Quinton Jammer.

Seriously, how many bust come from Texas? Williams(Left Tackle) Chris Simms(Even though he wasn't drafted high), Ricky Williams(Never was as great of a player he was in college, plus a head case.) Jammer sucked until they got Merriman and stilll is questionable because S.D. would of never drafted Cason that high if they thought Jammer was all of that. Hell, the list goes on!
