Ok....bought our booze, because we all know you can't get it on Sunday in Texas. Then....bam,I got the jackpot. A festival of Bon Jovi, David Lee Roth era van halen, general 80s hair metal, Guns n roses. .and this Van Halen band is smokin!om at box garden at legacy hall in Plano. I will close this place down as live music, especially 80s hair metal is my thing. Here we go!!!!! By the way, this brown ale is fantastic.
Liquor, no you can't buy it on Sunday's. But beer and wine is available after 10AM

It's now 840 pm and we are waiting for the last band, a guns n roses tribute. The bands have been awesome so far. Gonna be a late night. 730 breakfast in Arlington, then an early check in at hotel. We have our booze, we will walk over yo parking lit for Rangers byb9am and start the party. Head in to stadium at 11. As always, having a fantastic time. It's not about Jerry selling me anything. It's about spending time with my family and having a blast.

I farted around with this a few years ago and didnt do it, but I am gonna give it a go this weekend. We see a lot of people asking questions abut making the trip for a game, so I am going to share all of my activities for the weekend in one thread. I do not have any youtube channel, no blog, no podcast, no nothing, so Im not trying to get any followers.

We leave tomorrow morning out of Oakland and fly direct into Dallas Love. I am essentially going to share with you where we go, what we do, and times. We have a regular routine for Sunday morning breakfast. I hope this will help anyone thinking of making the trip on how much time you need to alot for gameday.

Im just going to use this thread to post our activities. Possibly an 80s hair metal festival starting at 330 on Saturday. Sounds like fun as I a always up for live music and partying on these trips.

My wife of 36 years got us and my oldest daughter tickets to the last season opener at Texas Stadium and it has become a family tradition to come to at least the opener every season (minus covid) since.

This year we are coming to the opener, the Iggles game in Nov. and I found out last week my wifes company comped us 2 tickets for the Bucs game in late Dec.

A playoff game would likely having me going to that also. Home or away.

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!.
Have fun, Jerry loves you.

Thanks for the updates.

Do you need alcohol to have an enjoyable time?

We don’t always get along but I do fully understand why you want to approach discussion on ‘state of the team’ affairs around here from a positive point of view.

I did a lot of traveling to games in my 20s and 30s with friends and it was a blast. Some of the best experiences of my life.

It’s cool that you bond with your family that way. I can truly imagine how great it must feel…and enjoy.

If you wouldn’t mind giving an update around kickoff….I’m curious as to the vibe in the building. Are fans primed up and ready, or does it feel like there’s many black and gold jerseys? The crowd isn’t always “ready” for noon games lol.

The tailgate scene at the new stadium is not up to the same level as TS yet but it's getting there! Enjoy... I know you will.

730am breakfast at Pioneer about 3 miles from stadium. Demarcus ware is at the crown royal truck with music blasting taking pics.decent number of saints fans here. The line to see waste is decent. He's super cool with the fans. Damn I love this sh....we've got some first times with us, so I'm going in a little earlier than normal. I'm getting pumped. Last night's hair metal bands were awesome.

Walked over to Ware, told him thank you, he gave me a thumbs up. I to stadium a little earlier than normal, 40 minutes before kickoff. Relatively empty at the seats. The forier is packed. More saints fans than I expected. But, new Orleans isn't to far, and they won big last week.
