I must admit, I don't recall saying to myself "man that was a good route" for any WR except CeeDee maybe once. Since this isn't about Dak I'll leave him out of it. But, these WRs do seem to be straight line route runners...Prince better get these guys going.
I think Lamb is a good route runner but maybe he has no confidence in the route being asked of him. He and Daks biggest plays last year came from Dak improvising and throwing on the run. That masked how bad this is playbook is.

I imagine Troy is more defending the QB position than just Dak.
I think Troy personally likes Dak and for Troy, he's not handing out flowers and daisies to everyone like Roger used to. If Troy doesn't like you...it'll be apparent after awhile.

The thing is Troy can like Dak and Dak can still be a choker. Dak is likeable enough...so what? He's just not good under pressure.

I don't doubt our WRs run poor routes...and Mahomes WRs drop passes. If Troy didn't like the way his receivers were coming off the ball, Troy would be on their ***. What's Dak doing?

the WRs are not running great routes, by design or lack of effort.
and thats on fat mike. He is so thankful he has a head coaching gig and he doesnt want to screw it up by getting in the face of players. At least Ive never seen it during a game. Get in the face of these guys and do some yelling...pretend they ate your last twinkie, mike.

Somehow I knew the Dak bots would come out of their self-imposed exile, congregate here, and start botting again. Troy is now again a great QB ...whose playoff record/success they will trash and diminish when you mention Dak's 2-5 playoff record.

So the highest paid QB and the 2nd highest paid WR just arent getting it done. Perfect. We have an amazing GM.

Maybe a few more first round OL and a first round RB will fix it. Ah heck, lets add in another first round WR. Second round too.

This team in general is a dumpster fire with hobo Jones just pouring on more gas, year after year.
2nd round te should do it.

I've posted here few times thar CD runs lazy routes. Especially when it looked like he wasn't the first opinion on the play. So did Gallup.

True, I remember speaking well of Quincy. But he seems to turn it up a little for Dak.
Agree. Maybe it is because he knows the position in Dallas comes with abuse and as a color guy he interviews and gets close to the guy. But he does go above and beyond. In my book both things are true.....routes are horrible but does it matter when a lot of the throws are sailing 5 ft over the guys head?

I call those plays "our only successful plays!" That's not offense at all, that's playground ball!!

or 5 yards under, causing the WR to have to adjust his body

So let me ask you how do you feel about him in motion? Growing up we were taught to run in motion…..Tyreek does it as a guy I notice. It seems like we walk when running motion and just do it just to say we are doing it. Seems like they jog.

True!!!! This also reminds me of Zeke and our RB's when they send them out for a route, it's the laziest thing ever, like why even send them out!
