Troy does have a point as this has been said before in numerous video breakdowns such as the ones from Warner. However the videos breakdowns also show Dak being confused on reading defenses.

1) Routes being poorly run or executed
2) Generic JG playbook is back it seems
3) Warner has shown numerous times the play calling from the snap was a "dead" play as it left Dak with zero options
4) Receiver seperation is atrocious
5) When they do get open Dak has been inaccurate
6) Warner has also said Daks first read is often wrong based upon coverage

Before the lions game the PBWR(16) and RBWR(13) was average or above average but yet the run game is non existent and the pass game has failed to sustain drives and get seperation. This comes down to coaching, scheme, and a lack of talent in the back field

Its just a mess

You don’t like to hear it but he duped us. I thought we were getting Deandre Hopkins…..this ain’t it.
Dont include me in this. He aint dupe me. Hes fine and not the problem.

This nowhere near Jefferson or Jamarr Chase stuff is nonsense. Yall would be saying the same things about them if they were here instead.

True!!!! This also reminds me of Zeke and our RB's when they send them out for a route, it's the laziest thing ever, like why even send them out!
Yep that’s another one. I’m like they aren’t going to throw him the ball why are you going empty set? No one has to account for the running back weird. Every team utilizes the running back in the pass game except this team and yeah they did pass it to Dowdle two games ago and it shocked the hell out of me.

Aikman is clueless.

Any typical billionaire NFL GM understands that receivers are judged by stats and jersey sales.

Sheesh Troy, come on.

I'll tell you exactly the play they do, it's SLANTS to the slot WR's and Zeek just runs a lazy sideline route it's the worst thing ever I swear!!! If in trouble, Dak stupidly throws it to him because there's never been a thing called throwing it out of bounds. It's a pass that's not even worth throwing to Zeke

#2 It NEVER LEFT, we have it here still because it's what Dak is comfortable with!

I think Lamb is a good route runner but maybe he has no confidence in the route being asked of him. He and Daks biggest plays last year came from Dak improvising and throwing on the run. That masked how bad this is playbook is.
It was the same with Romo at qb. Broken plays were the meat of the offense. Rarely do we out scheme opposing defenses. In the event we do run a successful designed play you can be sure to not see it again for a while. I'm not sure if thats by design but it's something I've noticed.

Lamb is being exposed this year. Still a great player but he's not on the Justin Jefferson/Ja'Marr Chase level and shouldn't have gotten paid in their stratosphere.
The thing is, if we swapped CeeDee with Ja'Marr on this team your post would be saying Ja'Marr is not on CeeDee's level. I'll let you figure out why

The highest paid player in the NFL should be playing far better than what he is, or he shouldn't have been paid that.

Dak is what he is. A slightly above average QB who is inconsistent, especially so against good defenses. I dont really blame Dak. Or CeeDee. Or Martin or Zeke. They knew how to play Jethro and got paid bigly.

Players arent happy to play for Dallas because of the history anymore. They're happy because they know they'll be able to railroad Jerrah for more than what they are worth.
That's not how the QB market works. That's not how NFL offenses work. How many times are you guys going to keep on with this lazy take that Dak should be able to basically walk on water because of how much he's paid? This team had no alternative at QB. The high round QBs Dallas has been linked to recently were Paxton Lynch and Johnny Manziel. Dallas lucked into Romo and Dak being the successes they are. When you have a QB who just finished second in MVP voting and is an 8 year starter who has led the team to the playoffs 3 years straight, you pay them. Mahomes, Montanna, etc., couldn't do any more than Dak has this year when his receivers run bad routes, get no separation, the O-line is constantly letting him get pressured on almost 50% of drop backs, etc. etc. etc. etc. No running game whatsoever. Your defense not helping at all in the home blowouts. Poor situational playcalling by McCarthy. Dak has made some poor decisions like that pick in the endzone against Detroit, but much of that seems to be a product of him just trying to force things to happen. These aren't "excuses". This is an entire paragraph of black and white facts that every single component of this team on offense outside of QB, WR1, and TE1 has been too bad to overcome. Dak has absolutely failed in some big moments, especially in the playoffs, when he's had the opportunity to elevate the team around him and win games, and has failed to do so. But this year? This insanity that's unfolding around us? He is literally last on the list of why we've had these historic losses.

When things were just slightly better last year Dak finished second in MVP voting. No one was trying to "play Jerry". They, moreover their agents, do what every single player in the league does, or what any of us in our careers do, and seek maximum compensation for their skillset.

We are all very frustrated fans right now and are looking for anywhere and anyone at which to direct our anger. But that anger is turning some of y'all into blind, angry talking heads when it comes to just using your eyes and applying a basic understanding of football and what it takes for offenses to work. I don't believe I've heard many, if any people who know about football or who are paid to talk about football make any of the assertions people on this board do about Dak. The blame for this season rests solely with Jerry, and to a lesser extent McCarthy.

Regardless of where the blame should go, it's sad to see how bad the offense looks.

LOL, thats it exactly. If you like FGs - the Cowboys this year are the team to watch. He is damn fun and exciting- thats for sure. Sure wanted to see him kick that 71 - yard FG earlier this season. Thats all we have right now is the kicker to watch for.

Naw I can’t do that. I think Lamb is a great receiver. I think he’s missing that dog. That dog is what separates the Tyreek Hills from the Devonta Smith’s. When you get pressed on the line you murder who’s in front of you. People can. Complain about Dez route tree but in his prime it was his football. I think Lamb is still developing that,
