Not "Too Much Responsibility" Troy said it will be different . . . He said the Man calling the Plays on Sunday will not be the one micro managing Him during the week

The OP put it out there so we can discuss what we think the Ramifications will be
That was part of what I meant. With MM now running the offense. Dak will not have as many people in his ear all week. As MM does his other responsibilities. So Dak can focus more in is own way.
That is my opinion of course, as we have no idea how it was before and how it will be now. Most likely not completely different.

However, whatever they do, Dak must cut down those INT's, throw better on target passes. Maybe that 30% change and play calling will achieve that. Along with a better OL and less predictable offense.
Just looking on the bright side for any improvements. Not defending Dak from past performances.

Hope is good bro.
Too much evidence for me to genuinely believe.
I will unfortunately be waiting for #4 to ultimately screw it all up again even if McCarthy miraculously can somehow affect past Dak tendencies which I doubt.

SleepNumber is a bad decision maker at his core and I can't get past this fact.

Maybe he needs a new sleep number to try, or try a different mattress company. :muttley:

Yes, MM needs to create a system that helps him reduce the INT's, make better decisions. Dak is what he is, but now he needs that change to help him, or hopefully helps him. As at this point, that is all we have until they hit the field game 1.

And my perspective will continue to be that fixing what's between Dak's ears is a lost cause.
But 4th coach is a charm I guess.

Yep I get it.

It’s gotten to where I literally despise Jerry for doing this to our team to stroke his own ego, and I’ve tried to quit, or make it less important, and it just doesn’t take.

2016 taught me a lot. They had an incredibly unlikely great regular season that I couldn’t at all enjoy, because I thought having a rookie QB would burn us in the playoffs. Maybe that wasn’t the reason, but I realized how awful it is for your team to be good enough to earn a one seed, and not at all enjoy it because of impending doom.

I try to enjoy the ride a little more now. It doesn’t always go well, but I try lol.

We are ALL Charlie Brown, and Jerry is Lucy. Just a matter of how ok people are with that.

Yep, me too man. That is I've tried. I'm like you in my support of the 2016 type offense to being the best case scenario for this QB.
But even at that, and something halfway resembling that type of run support dominance I still firmly doubt Dak's ability to win 3 to 4 consecutive playoff games.
And he's even got a defense backing him up now...
I'm at the hope tinged with doubt stage.
Or even hyper skeptical to cynical.

And of course the most over used one applies as in Show me don't tell me.

Troy Airman:

Babe Laufenberg on 105.3:

Your conclusions, take-aways?
They are right, but sometimes a great offense leaves the defense hanging....that's what I saw. Dak being put in bad positions in which he did not deliver and put the defense back on the field. That's why we need to establish a productive run game, and it's not the number of carries, it's the production that those carries deliver. String first downs together and keep our defense on the sidelines. That will also help keep Dak's interceptions low....defense will have to account for the run game and won't be able to keep an extra man in the secondary.

Yep this is all we have. This is Aikman talking about Dak and the offense:

Look, they were on the top of the list on a lot of numbers. You can say, 'this, this.' But when you're on the top of the list on third down conversions and total yards and points scored...those are 3 big statistics where you want to be on the top of the list. And they were. To me it's going to be very interesting.

And now we have gotten rid of the horrid Zeke. The offense can be even better.

If you cant enjoy a 13-3 season where the team wins 11 in a row with the birth of a new franchise QB, then you cant enjoy anything.

Only ones that didnt enjoy it were the Romo cry babies. And they havent enjoyed anything since other than Cowboys losses. LOL

I got news for you. An offense with the best run game in the NFL is the best case scenario for any QB. Just like it was for Aikman. Just like it was for Romo. Just like it was for Elway.

Dak is not stupid. Come on. Your dislike for him outweighs what changes can be good for the team. You and others just do not want to admit or see it.
Who are you to talk? You just said yesterday that you want Dak gone.
Is this you admitting you were wrong about Dak?

My conclusion is the coordinator and play calling change was merely this year's scapegoat. Next year is the head coach.

Round and round we go fixing everything but the actual problem.
We should trade him or cut him....it worked wonders for Wentz.

I don't hate Dak. I am just not as high on him as I used to be. I have stated that many times.
I want him to succeed. I am a fan of the team.
You know why I give you a hard time against Dak, and will leave it at that. :muttley:

There is nothing more than I want to see Dak succeed to quiet down all the avid "dislikers" that will never change their opinion, even after a SB victory.
I will pick and choose when and when not to defend him. It depends on the context of the thread / post.

Who am I to talk. I am a poster on this forum with an opinion such as everyone else.
I did not say I wanted him gone as to the way you took it. I may have said, if he can be replaced or to some extent of that.
Many have said that. Even you stated that before, if his pay does not match performance and a young QB is drafted to replace him.

I think Dak is a good to way above average QB, he is not horrible, he needs supporting cast and a good play calling system. Top 12 for sure IMO.
Last year he cost us games, along with other plays that some fans ignore by other players
Hopefully the changes will do him good. Eliminate those mistakes that he had a bad year with. 1 bad year of them.

Zeke still on the brain. 24 / 7. Hilarious. Stalking my every post again.
