Troy Airman:

Babe Laufenberg on 105.3:

Your conclusions, take-aways?
Yeah, between the 20 and 20, Moore was great. In the red zone, one of the worst. In big moments moores playcalling have cost this team plenty of games. It's funny how everybody just forgets player after player for the past 3 yrs on opposing teams saying the Dallas offense is so predictable. Every team can say that but the only really good ones can stop them. And that's what we've seen. The good defenses who play smart and have the talent are the ones who have knocked this team out of the playoffs.

So how do we determine who makes the team look good and who's team make them look good? Is there a link with who carries a team and who doesn't??

Marino, Moon, and Cunningham didn't have Superbowl rings either... so I guess Foles, Stafford and Dilpher are better than these ringless quarterbacks I've mentioned.

Do we go by overall team success???

For instance.... Aaron Rodgers has one Superbowl ring. So does Trent Dilpher, Nick Foles and Matt Stafford. So is it safe to say all of them are on the same skill level as Rodgers??? How can you prove which of these quarterbacks carried or were carried???

Last I checked, success required the whole team to play for each other. No one quarterback can do it alone. That's why it's called a TEAM game.
Well gb has had over 31 yrs between Favre and Karen and only have 2 SBs to show for it. 31 yrs of HOF qbs and each one only won 1 title. And have only been to 3 in them 31 yrs.

Draft position should not have any effect on how Dak plays in the NFL. The team around him has made him look better than he really is and the team has elevated his play instead of him elevating the team. The team even made Rush look good. I will say that the team rallied around Rush in a way that I have never seen them rally around Dak.
Personally, I think those Rush games are what got Moore fired. Dallas played well against good teams. The thing is, Moore called the game differently for Rush. It was a simpler game focused on control. When Dak came back, Moore got super aggressive which added to the point total but also hung the defense out to dry on a regular basis leading to having a worse record.

When you listen to MM, I think that the goal here is to simplify things and protect the defense. Much like for Rush . . . or Dak's rookie year . . . which was actually his best year.
