With whats gone down in Dallas. And the Garrett situation and Garrett in contact with Jerry throughout this whole process paints a picture of just how out of the loop in Dallas Troy really is.

He called the handling of JG dysfunction, but as it turns out Garrett was asked about McCarthy and he gave a endorsement. He apparently knew from the get go he wasnt being brought back.

Aikman clearly has a issue with Jerry and made some stupid comments based in the past. Because its clear Troy doesnt know whats going in Dallas these days.

Jerry hired a guy he seems to trust and has let him do work. This hiring process and McCarthy coaching search has gone a complete 180 on how it went for JG. Aikman looks like a Donkeys you know what in this situation.

That is because that is what Tory is he is just not a good person.

Troy sounds like that old neighbor who complains about everything for years because of that one time your dog accidentally crapped in his yard.

Let's attack the QB who won 3 SBs because he said something mean about the owner who kept JG for a decade. :muttley:

By the way, 24 years, 6 coaches, 21 QBs, and 1 GM since Troy's last SB say he is right about the dysfunction in Dallas.

Based on what came out from the media it seemed he was interviewing for his job. Reports of him selling Jerry Jones to keep it, while Jones was apparently considering it as he competed with other tenured coaches.

Doesn't seem disrespectful to Garrett as Jones heard him out over 3 meetings before making a final decision. He didn't even owe him that after giving him numerous chances over 10 years, only to keep failing. Jerry could certainly pin some blame on himself for not allowing Jason to make all coaching hires, nor ability to call plays, but regardless Jason wasn't the coach to get this team over thr hump.

But in this case the doggy doo is the Special Teams play that took a 10 or 11 win season down to 8-8. Troy is good friends with Garrett, who is ultimately responsible for that and without a doubt pays the price.

Troy's point is more like the fact if Jerry is pointing the finger at Garrett he should get his own house in order first. Pretty understandable except for the whole "downward motion of defecation" thing.

Nothing is preventing Garrett from coaching, other than him not getting job offers. If Jerry offered him a FO job and he refused it, that’s on him. He can go wherever he wants now.

So true. He can go wherever he wants now. Including into retirement, it's not like he's not an uber millionaire...

Troy, Troy, Troy your 1st head coach was supposed to be Tom Landry. Jerry fired him while eating Mexican food with Jimmy Johnson. Jimmy Johnson was supposed to coach you to 5-6 Super Bowls. Jerry fired him while getting drunk at NFL meeting after bar.

So what makes you think he was going to be mindful, respectful, or have consideration for a Head Coach that had 3 winning seasons in 10 years.

Don’t remember Troy ever being this outspoken about the organization or Jerry until after he was put in the ROH. lol

Whether or not Troy has a good point, it's almost masked by the fact that once or twice a year Troy likes to go off on something Cowboys and it probably all stems from the Jimmy Johnson situation and his bitterness from that wasted opportunity. Not that I'd blame him for being bitter, but he seems to relish in these annual shots at the organization.

I love Troy but disagree with him on this one. The clapper was given a job. He knew the obstacles in front of him with this circus. He failed miserably for 10 years! Time to pack your bags and don’t let the door hit you in the *** on the way out. Only in the professional sports do you hear about this crap Troy is spewing. Maybe if some of these spoiled brat millionaires had a real job at some point in their life they could relate to the real world. See ya...you clapping, spitting, butt slapping excuse for a coach! Good bye and good riddance! Let’s go Boys! There’s light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in a long time.
