Ok now that we are clear, then no. I think he will try but last off season was special, and doesnt happen every year IMO

Bill and everyone knows we're close. Bill and everyone wants to go for the kill shot next year. He'll bring in more defensive players in the draft, but i agree OL should be upgraded thru FA. We need a dependable, dominant OL and i would prefer we start with a dominating Center. I would also bring in a guy who has several seasons playing as a RT, but has some versatility.
OL must be fixed, at any cost, if we are to win the tournament. Bill and everyone knows it.

What dominate Olinement will be available in free agency? No team will let dominate Olinemen test the free agent market. Bentley and Hutchinson will be frachised. Do you want another retread like Rivera cuz that is what you'll get in Runyan. We have to draft Olinemen or hope some of ours take monstrous strides in the offseason.

O.K. I just wrote a big spiel in another thread how it will in my opinion, take 2 more off-seasons to complete the overhaul. This year he should finish the defence and hopefully put a couple of pieces of the offence in place.(RT- McNeil) Then finish it the next year. - Still to many needs for one offseason.

Not with our Statue as our QB. although we have a really bad O-line, he still gives up too many sacks that are his fault when he does have time

Even drafting an OLineman is not getting you a dominant OLineman for next year. Ask the Raiders how dominant Robert Gallery has been

Well thats true, but teams don't let young Ogdens, Bosellis, or Paces go. We have a much better chace of gettting a good Oline player in the draft than we do in free agency. But your right nothing is for sure.

I read somewhere that it takes at least 3 seasons to develop a good young OL. Can't remember where I read that but it was from a very reliable writer.

I do not know if that is true but it is something to keep in mind when drafting OL.

Thats what scares me. By the time that happens Bledsoe, Keyshawn, and Glenn will be too old and have retired. BP not drafting a QB will come back to bite us.

Even the guys you named were all drafted before 18. If someone said hey this guy is the new Orlando Pace then ok draft him, but after the top 1-2 are gone its a shot in the dark ya know

I have read that before also. Says they can play right away and have a short learning curve but will take an average of about 3 seasons to start to show their full potential

I know everyone freaks out on this QB deal, but I can;t help but think The Cowboys see something in one of their backups thats why they are standing pat with them.

I remember hearing that too Cb, but I think that is Parcels way of leaveing the club in good condition when he does leave. Its not just about now. With this draft being deep in Oline and LBs,keep building both sides of the ball.We will see if the scouting dept. got lucky last year or if they really can pick the right talent for us. Sure hope so...

Yeah but this year is different. There are alot of good quality tackles and experts are rating the top five completely different. If Marcus McNeil makes it to us, BP must pull the trigger. Besides, sometimes rookies can make a good contribution. The 3 year rule is just applied so you don't label someone a bust too quickly.

From the article I read recently......Romo seems ready as far as confidence..if that translates to mentally and physically then we are in good shape. We can only hope.;)
