well yea

the head coach who team and coaching staff didnt show up at all in a PLAYOFF game is still here say it all if u ask me

that is the standard dont show up at all dont do ur job at all and u still keep ur job no problem
You mean the head coach without any power? The head coach that Jerry hired some of his staff?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, ALL players answer directly to Jerry not McCarthy. This is Jerry’s mess that will result in the powerless head coach‘s dismissal as the scapegoat for Jerry’s failures as the owner, GM, and phantom head coach.

No accountability for those at the very top is the fundamental problem in Dallas. Fans can complain about this coach or this player but Jerry is the architect of this 28 year deep playoff run drought that transcends any group of coaches or players.

Philadelphia after dropping a dozen eggs on the floor on MNF and having them splatter are 2-7 last 9 games . Jalen Carter Nakobe Dean Davis the mammoth tackle taken with the 13th pick round one all these guys are invisible . Siriani and Moore have the Warren commission looking into why they passed the ball when a run play wins the game ….yeah Dallas got slapped around Sunday no doubt .

Now let’s see what 60 million a yr buys us and Micah and Zims crew need to bounce beck chasing the most mobile QB in football.

thats it exactly ! lol
That is why I enjoyed seeing the saints give them a whooping ! Jerry was mad in his deathstar booth, I love seeing that.
now if only the ravens can give them a 2nd whipping in a row !
In the past I'd never consider "hoping" for a loss. And in fact would consider insulting you for this.

However....maybe things have to become super dire for any meaningful change.

I'm not 100% convinced this would be enough for Jerry...to do what needs done (other than a different lame duck coach and more underperforming super contracts)

But I shall hold my insults and ponder it.:)

What pissed me off about Sunday was after the game excuses. We just wasn't physical enough-we just didn't have it today- we were out played. So? you telling me with your family there you couldn't be ready? With all the fans there you couldn't be ready? With all the people watching on TV you couldn't be ready? You not ready and every play could be your last one for the week-for months or permanently as a football player? Then with guys taking your lunch money you couldn't be ready??? Maybe Jerry ought not to be ready to deliver those BIG checks come Tuesday. Bet it'll be a whole lot of guys ready then about not getting paid. In what other job can you say " sorry boss" I just wasn't ready or feeling it today...Micah on his podcast talk about fighting like a lion. Never seen a Lion take a beat down like on Sunday. Micah talks about being like roman gladiators and soldiers. Never heard of a gladiator saying " we just didn't show up today" I mean I guess as fans we look at it differently. But in my wildest dreams I could never think about calling it in if I were a Dallas Cowboy football player. Much less taking an azzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz kicking on my home field....

Some fans just don’t have it in them to critique their team. Everything is fine .

Hop on the Homer wagon. All aboard. Go Cowboys!!
That's because their team is more important than their family friends and job!!

Business is always to succeed....that doesn't imply that is cause for product also to not be competitive in sport. In business, if you don't like product at it's base...change product. Dumb shopper?

I'm a Cowboy fan and don't just chunk rocks on this site...buddy. I defend my team.
Congrats for blindly defending the moron

"We will watch the game film and get it corrected". So just *** have they been correcting all this time? It's beyond time to pinch it off and get off the pot.

The one word theme we heard post game yesterday and even the day after from Jerry, Mike McCarthy, Dak, Micah and Cedee, and anyone else talking after that 44-19 beat down home loss was…”unacceptable”. Yeah, Blah, blah, blah.

Cowboys‘ fans reaction should be: “Oh really? Because last January, after the most embarrassing playoff loss in Cowboys history, that’s what you also told us then. Why don’t you start showing us instead of telling us.”

If that playoff loss to the 7th seeded packers in January was really that “unacceptable”, then why do we still have the same GM, EVP, head coach, starting QB, star WR, and the so called generational defensive talent that surrendered a collective 92 points at home in the last two home games? The obvious and truthful answer to that question is: Because losing IS acceptable here.

Let me put it another way: If losing were so unacceptable, why do we have the same people in charge year after year after 28 years? Yeah, I know, that same guy in charge also owns the team, and the coaches and players he’s chosen to pay the most have sucked too. But the guy at the top and his DNA entitled son never admit fault or receive any accountability. THAT is what has most created and contributed to this fat, bloated and lazy culture that basically winks and offers platitudes after getting their posterior shot off at home.

As far as I’m concerned, the most important people associated with this entire organization have clearly made losing completely acceptable. Because nothing changes with the people most responsible.
I agree. I have noticed how quiet the home game fans have been over the last few years. Hearing other team's fans louder than the home team. The fan base is really starting to lose interest. I know I am. Wasn't even mad at the lose, like I use to be.

Did you think the Cowboys would never lose again? It's one loss and you are acting like the sky is falling. Sure it was an embarrassing loss but on any given Sunday, this is possible. You can not be so reactionary to one loss. No, it's not two blowouts in a row at home. It's a new season with a new DC, a new defensive scheme, and new players. They can quickly fix what hurt the defense on Sunday so let Zimmer do that and stop counting Dan Quinn's playoff loss against the present team.

Stopping the run is not a quick fix by any stretch of the imagination we haven't been able to do it for years.

We don't have a front office that makes it a priority and acquires the personnel to get the job done.

We're so stupid we draft a defensive tackle finally in the first round and put him on Jenny Craig and make him lose weight.

Hey but we got 36-year-old Linville Joseph is that who you're counting on to fix this problem

They are in denial. We don't have the defensive tackles to compete with good offensive lines that can run the ball, like GB or NO etc.

Unfortunately we have no chance, unless we get way out in front of these teams and make them pass.
Spot on

Oh please, spare us the melodrama. It’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and throw around words like “unacceptable” and “lazy culture” as if you have some inside scoop.

If you actually understood how NFL teams work, you’d realize change doesn’t happen overnight. Sure, the playoff loss stung, but to act like firing the GM or head coach every time things don’t go perfectly is the answer? Laughable. You’ve clearly ignored the fact that success in this league takes more than just knee-jerk reactions after every loss. The Cowboys aren’t just "accepting" losing — they’re building something, even if you can’t see it through your rose-tinted nostalgia glasses of the '90s.

Horrendous post of the day. They had 28 years to change things, Hardly a knee jerk reaction. By the drivel in your post i'd say you were a Jones or on the payroll

Doesn't happen overnight agreed but it's been 30 years . I'm just hoping something happens before a meteor hits the Earth.

I agree they're building something a money making machine is what they built .
As far as team building to win a super bowl until you build a team that can run the ball and stop the run you are just kidding yourself.

Until you have a coach that can prepare a team to play playoff football you are also spitting into the wind.

The coach is past it the team's not built properly to succeed in the playoffs and our GM owner just wants to keep us relevant and make money.

That's it in a nutshell and there's nothing we can do about it but hope to see some good football once in awhile.
I'm sure we would all donate some money to the cause if we thought we could change things.

I bet everybody on this form would donate a hundred bucks if it would put Chris Jones on our defensive line.

And I have addressed this as well. It was the defense that failed us in the playoffs. As a result, we have a new DC with a new scheme and new players. That disaster in the playoffs has been addressed. The current leadership in FO took the appropriate action. So, a new problem occurred on Sunday and Zimmer will fix it. Relax!
No we have our old defensive coordinator many years down the road from his prime.
We took no appropriate action we lost talent to free agency and injury.
A new problem did not occur we have not been able to stop the run and we still can't.

Zimmer will not fix it because he does not have the personnel because we do not participate in free agency and we can only acquire so much talent in the draft.

We are all perfectly relaxed and prepared for this year's version of groundhog Day as everything will be the same.

No accountability from the top on down. I’m just hoping a miracle happens and the players come together led by the veterans and right the ship.
I hear you Rocky it seems like we need The perfect Storm I was really excited last year when the eagles totally imploded and thought it was really a great chance for us to get further.

That was about as close to a miracle as I think we'll get but I'm always hopeful

I don’t know if someone brought this up; maybe they had a couple of team parties to celebrate Dak’s new contract.

100% spot on.

It doesn’t help with contract negotiations either.

Imagine you’re a player. Who has busted his butt since you were a kid to make it to the NFL.

Who has played hurt and tired and worked endlessly to get there.

Then when you’re finally up for your first NFL contract you’re looking across the table at Stephen Jones of all people. Silver spoon Stephen. A guy who has accomplished nothing in life, had everything handed to him due to his dad. A guy who sucks at his job but keeps it because daddy owns the team.

Imagine that silver spoon ****** bag saying to you (and the media, mind you). That you need to take less for the team. That you need to take less because there’s only “so much pie to go around”.

I honestly wouldn’t even be able to listen to him run his mouth like that without wanting to flip the table and punch him in his entitled mouth.

And then we fans wonder why none of the players take a hometown discount.

A hometown discount for who? For what? For Stephen jones who sucks as EVP and who has more money than he could ever spend thanks to Daddy?

Pfffffffffft
