I suggest putting the clip on mute when you watch it because the dude narrating makes it nearly unlistenable. However, he was able to provide some good clips (some All-22) of Hill making some plays last year which was encouraging.

It’s not to say Hill is a finished product but he may continue to develop with this new coaching staff and evolve into a solid/valuable rotation guy.

Check it out.

Marinelli seemed to go out of his way to make enemies with certain guys. Hopeful the new staff will get him in a better position to make plays rather than Marinelli being stubborn. In obvious pass rushing situation we could even have a DL of Gregory, Poe/McCoy, Hill, Lawrence and bring Jaylon down off the edge/up the middle

You relentless homer, you.

Seriously though. Cool video. The book if not finished on Hill yet. The physical talent is there. Always has been. Let’s hope he harnesses it.

Good luck being encouraged by anything in that video. Lucky there’s any tape of Hill as a little as we saw of him last season. The dope narrating it said there wasn’t enough film to do a good evaluation of Hill. That’s because he only suited up for maybe 4 games and didn’t do much. Who ever put that video together must have had a tough time staying awake trying to find some good to decent plays Hill made. lol

He is a young kid, that hopefully can benefit from a year in the weight room.

Not being asked to play at 1T when he hadn't done so before will help.

Also, expecting 22 year olds to have any clue who Isiah Thomas is ... just plain dumb that coaches would be upset about that. Kids his age do that in classrooms all the time. Not a good look but not the disrespectful act that people want to make it out to be.

what weight room ?
All the NFLs' off season programs are voided and closed because of COVID-19 crisis.
Like many others, he's gonna be working out on his own at the very least, and he wont have the chance to work up
close and front with new strengthening coaches and asst. coaches.
It's just the way and life of NFL because of an unusual crisis we all are facing and having to re-adjust on the move.

I really hope he grows up and figures it out, we need him to pan out.

With no OTA’s and little to no training camp he’s going to have a tough time figuring it out. He needs a full offseason program to improve. If he’s not good enough to suit up for every game next season assuming there is a next season he won’t be here.

Hill was expected to be a contributor. Instead, he played in only 11% of the defensive snaps and was a healthy scratch most of the season.

In the NFL, it’s always difficult to tag a player as a “bust.” Right now, fans and analysts are leaning that way.

If his attitude doesn't change he won't be here long, no ties to current staff, sort it young man or you will be gone
Has there been a reported attitude problem since he has been a Cowboy?

Hill clearly had a poor rookie season, what he does in terms of getting himself mentally and physically ready for this season will go a long way in terms of a future in the NFL. With a new staff in place what he does here and now is all that matters. Ball is in his court.

this is exclusively a highlight film - it doesn't break down pluses vs minuses OF Hill, not that it's much tape on him due to Marinelli putting him on the shelf
for much of the year.
The only i'm seeing that stands out is what has been known from him per draft time, Trysten has really good movement skills and get off for someone
supposedly 305 lbs. i really dunno what his instincts and knack for the game is like, and the only way you stand a chance of improving and developing
is to play. And that was simply not an option with Marinelli.
That said, it's gonna take another year in the rotation in a full season to really see what Trysten offers.

Time will tell what Hill's work ethic, drive and maturity will be like under the new coaching regime and we have established, well reputed coaches
and i'm inclined to entrust both them and Hill himself than i am with Rod Marinelli.
