Fair enough.....man is entitled to see what he sees.....and change. Contractually for Jerry.....that's too late.

Yep...Jerry has to "see" things differently than commentators. Commentators do predict...but they also react.
Jerry has to say "for the good of our business...we CAN and SHOULD wait". Instead, he relies on his feelies.

I love Jimmy Johnson and I'm not reading a single piece of this thread not even one word I didn't read the original I'm not reading any responses because I'm tired of hearing the same old same old this is not about Prescott this is about the league and Jimmy Johnson hey dude I'm ready to continue you didn't do anything up there you did nothing with Miami you haven't done anything since you're not been hired as a general manager you're not even really a freaking consultant you can't deal with today's NFL the salary cap players leaving like literally superstars changing teams like it's the NBA now like all over the place this free agency is not your cup of tea Jimmy so stay in your lane you once were a great Dallas cowboy you once were a great coach with the Miami Hurricanes but you ain't nothing you know nothing about this league and how to deal with it....
because Prescott's not the only quarterback or player that gets market money because there aren't better options teams do it all the time, they overpay a lot of people(Cmac 2 years 38mil hmmm ) and let me explain something to you,.
six other teams would have been bidding for Prescott services in 2025 and they would have paid him that kind of money and anybody who denies it you don't like Prescott ,we get it ,I don't need to hear you hater terms ,your hater views ,
there are 10 quarterbacks that make over $50 million and there's only one of them that's winning Super Bowls,
that way Patrick mahomes, this is just the way of the new age NFL that Jimmy does not understand and again,

now here's the mistake that was made...
Once you pay for Mr. pouty Mr. sideline antics Mr. I dropped three passes and blame my quarterback once you paid him you had to pay Prescott the Domino's are now following now you have to pay persons you have to just play this window out I was all for a reboot which would have considered maybe a Jimmy Johnson move I don't know if he can handle it but I would have done this I would have traded CD lamb, Diggs, Parsons, and I would have cut Martin, Tank, and than allow Dak tpo leave,
did full reboot.... That would've been completely understandable new coaching staff new quarterback new players just use all them draft picks to get better but how long would that have taken I mean this place may not like losing but acting like overnight things could be changed with this front office this could have been another 12 year stretch that we've seen between eight man and Romo and it could have been really bad but that's your options not act like we could keep a few of those players and let Prescott go you have to start over with all of them so it was all or nothing Jerry chose all now we have to live with it..
It's not that bad a thing guys you don't even have to read my this,,I don't care but I'm tired of the league in the fan base and the media telling Jerry that he made a mistake when the rest of the league makes the same mistakes and not just at quarterback they overpaid defensive ends that never provide enough production they do it at every level I've seen so many free agents overpaid or teams keeping their players and they pay them a lot of money and they never really get what they pay for it that's just part of what we call market money some will allow it to happen and some won't some teams are willing to let their players go and start over there is no right choice..
This could be worse we just have a bunch of really good players we gotta hope you can build around them that's the problem has nothing to do with Prescott in 60 million because he would've got that somewhere else next year probably the Raiders but there are at least 5 or 6 teams I know would've been bidding on his services anybody who thinks differently that's on you but I watched the league I've seen worse players get paid as much money and they're not doing anything either.. We are talking about a league that paid deshaun Watson 250 million guaranteed after all his off the field antics his embarrassing personality in off the field extracurriculars being suspended they still gave him that money before he played a snap Prescott's worth 251,000,000 guaranteed if we look at deshaun Watson's contract.. We saw The Jets pay Aaron Rodgers and get nothing in return we seen deshaun Watson get paid all that money and get nothing in return we've seen Russell Wilson in Denver who I think they should not have cut 'cause now they paid his salary so their competitor their rival can be better and probably gonna beat them either in the playoffs or down the road but they are willing to pay his big time cap hit in order to have him not there that was a big mistake you don't sign a guy before he plays a snap with you to an extension but Prescott we didn't have to give up anything these other teams gave up draft picks and players and then handed these guys dumb contracts these guys were not free agents these were trees these were decisions made to give up assets and money without seeing any results on the new team Prescott is only getting money from the team he was drafted getting money after two of his best years 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions I mean the man played the franchise tag without complaint without holding out broke his ankle came back after he got paid and had one of his best years in 202137 touchdowns 10 interceptions and then he got paid this year and got hurt but he got paid because of what because he still showed last year he led the league in scoring second team all pro second team MVP voting he could still play I mean literally had the most touchdowns and the least amount of interceptions and people around here act like the man's lost because he can't run as well?
how about this build a team around him that's better that's on the front office they kept these guys now they need to do a better job of getting everything they can from them build a better team we see the eagles 49ers and other teams go out there and get these players prescott haven't had that benefit..
