Let's not get carried away with the "no aptitude" stuff. The guy has a winning record as a head coach in the NFL. Regardless of what you might think of how "good" he was as a head coach.. Coaches who have "no aptitude" don't have a winning record. You wanna see no aptitude look at guys like Hackett in Denver or McDaniel in Vegas or even Bowles at any of his stops where he's been promoted to head man. A lot of guys are great coordinators but just can't cut it as the head man. No shame in that.. not everybody is cut out for the big chair.
