The cowboys offense commits too many.

the cowboys defense never forces any.

#1 reason they are 1-3.

Cowboys defense is on pace to be dead last in forced turnovers. You can’t win football games without getting some turnovers. It’s going to kill the team all season long if it doesn’t change.

Yep. You lose the turnover battle you lose the game. Atlanta was a major anomaly. 440-1

Agreed. With as bad as this defense is I would play aggressive as can be, with the main focus on getting turnovers. Don't care if i give up quick strikes. Id rather that happen then teams march down the field with 10 play drives on us.

I agree 100%. Just start blitzing the crap out of opposing QB’s.

Seems like a recurring theme over the past 25 years or so. We suck at getting turnovers year in and year out. We are pretty good at giving them though

All we had to do was get rid of Marinelli and we'd be raking in the turnovers. Or so I was told.

What are we, about -7?

I think they were -5 heading into the game. So now it will be -8.

defense has forced 2 turnovers in 4 games. That’s on pace for 8 over the season. And that’s including the GIFT from DK Metcalf fumbling through the end zone.

they would be on pace for 4 over a full season without that.

Same as it ever was.
You can say the same thing for 24 of the last 25 years.
Sick to death of it!

this is pretty much the story of this season so far

I wish Dak didn’t have to drop back as much as he does. Throwing the ball 60 times a game significantly increases the chances of committing a turnover but the defense won’t get a stop and one fumble (or TWO Lol) and you’re in a hole.

The o-line might not be as much of a train wreck as the defense right now BUT it’s still a train wreck.

The defense is a completely derailed train and the o-line is a partially derailed train wreck. They can’t establish the run early on because they aren’t getting any push and we can’t establish Zeke with any consistency. Steele better not see the field again. Not ready for the big time.

The offense has to clean up on the turnovers and the defense has to start creating some.

The offense has very little room
For error with turnovers because the defense never forces any.

then the style of offense they need to play at the end of games increases the risks because they have to keep executing risky plays.
