I get so EXCITED every time he runs it out from 2 yards inside of the endzone and gets tackled at the 15!!!!! YES!!!!
I get even more excited when we get a holding penalty tacked on. Starting inside our 10 is so EXCITING!!

reading through this forum who do people want to keep?

Turpin imo is an average returner but im firmly square on fair catches and not returning the ball out of the endzone

The fact Turpin made the pro bowl is simply a testament to lack of quality and emphasis at that position. Its a shame b/c I was rooting for the guy to make it big. But if he can't contribute on offense, his spot needs to go to someone else who can.

Has there ever been a Pro-Bowler more people want to cut? It's pretty wild.

The cockiness started when he ran that ball back in pre season. He has sucked ever since. I have no idea how he was able to get a pro bowl selection.
Not accurate. He's been great and the field position has helped.

I'm not getting rid of him, I'm putting him on punt return, and telling him to keep doing what he's doing just don't fumble. You can't give up on a guy that's electric unless he constantly puts the ball on the ground.

He seems to be regressing. Which is true for every player on this team. Which is what happens towards the end of every season.

He has definitely become shaky fielding punts.

Lil' boy needs to eat some humble pie.
He's not nearly as great as he thinks he is.

When y'all were crowning him the next Devin Hester I warned you all that adjusting to the NFL was going to take some time. He's been good for flipping the field a few times which is all I wanted but also expected 1 or 2 house calls compared to the 6 or 7 people were predicting. Can't have the fumbles but he's been adequate.

The guy is so small that his arms don't extend beyond his facemask. Its like having a T-Rex back there. He's had a few punts hit him in the face while extending his arms for the catch. Give me a bigger, rangy guy with good hands that will secure the ball and take a big hit without fumbling.
It’s because he doesn’t want to expose himself to getting blasted so he short-arms them.

I said for the experiment to be over months ago, I'm not ready to give up but I wouldn't mind seeing someone else out there. Yes you brave souls are going to say WHO WILL WE PUT out there, hell I don't know but have an open competition.

We can't have muffed plays on special teams in the playoffs. Like I said I'm not giving up on him, but something has to give. Maybe this is why we haven't seen him much on offense....
he should be on notice and hyper focused this week. MM should send a message to him byt having somebody else field punts and returns. one miscue, one bobble and he should be pulled.
