That seems like it was Turpin's best game on special teams in some time.
Yep. I had been complaining recently that he hadn't done much recently. It worked! He had a good game. That seems like it was Turpin's best game on special teams in some time.
Thank you for your serviceYep. I had been complaining recently that he hadn't done much recently. It worked! He had a good game.
Return unit, yes.Seems like special teams found a little life today. Let's hope that continues
What do you meanWith Turpin, I feel l, they should put on the return instead of going for the block. How many punts get blocked every year, 4? So a punt returned for a TD is more likely to happen than a block. Math don't lie.
They missed 2 field goals and gave up a huge return lolSeems like special teams found a little life today. Let's hope that continues
There are about 4 punt blocks per year and 8 punts returned for TD's a year. So instead of trying to block the punt they should pull guys off the line to block for the return. What do you mean
You’re saying Turin needs to run twice as fast ?There are about 4 punt blocks per year and 8 punts returned for TD's a year. So instead of trying to block the punt they should pull guys off the line to block for the return.
Basically, yeah. You’re saying Turin needs to run twice as fast ?
He's trying to hit holes more at speed this year instead of a hesitating to try to let the blocking develop before hitting a hole. He had a good game last week against Baltimore, too. He averaged 31.0 per return in that one. Actually looking at his numbers, he averaged 30.5 against Washington. Right now, he's second in the league in return average at 28.13, which puts him in the top five of those with 10 or more returns. That seems like it was Turpin's best game on special teams in some time.
With close games like Sunday's, special teams can be our edge.Seems like special teams found a little life today. Let's hope that continues
