TV issues..

I've got Directv and I've had the HD DVR for awhile now. This just started in the last couple weeks.

And when I say delay, I'm not saying a delay between broadcasts. Like a show on DTV will show slower than a show that's on a standard broadcast antenna.

I'm saying the screen freezes, I get a funky looking screen, and then the channel comes up. That doesn't seem normal to me.

I notice something similar when I switch between the Component inputs and the HDMI port on my TV.

I think it has something to do with the signal. Pretty sure I have seen it on other TVs as well. I've noticed it happens sometimes when the signal goes from standard to high def.

You should try turning your dvr box off then turning it back on. Or check the remote batteries
