It''s to the point now where the league simply thumbs its nose at the justice system and says "we do whatever we want". Justice be damned.
Your right. But it's the players that gave Goodell those powers. And it won't change until the next CBA. Until then, the courts won't intervene. The Brady case is evidence of that.

I felt that way at first then upon further reading realized he wouldn't do that. Fight a suspension against the same NFL who is making him so much money...just won't happen. He will tell us how furious he is. May even see it soon in a presser but he won't go after Goodell...same way Kraft didn't. It's on zeke and his legal team now.

You may be right but, if Kraft can open his checkbook for his QB why not Jerry for his prized RB. Just sayin'

You might remember that Jerry once opened his checkbook to sue the NFL for 700 million dollars and won. Jerry is not a piker to be messed with once he get irritated.

I hear ya. He can and has the firepower to do it. If I remember correctly Kraft didn't open his up. He took the 1st round pick loss as the hefty fine thinking it would take care of any type of Brady punishment...then when Brady was handed 4 games Kraft was also "furious". He talked about it a little but his checkbook remained closed while Brady and his team fought the battle.

And Jerry suing the NFL for $700 million was...AWESOME!

Zeke put himself in this mess. Nobody else. He has to grow up.

I have to agree with you on that 100%. Still the disparity in the Zeke vs Brown mess sticks in my craw. Zeke and Jerry can and
should fight this racial bias in the media arena.

I do agree with you that the treatment of Brown and Zeke is troubling. I would say it's probably a stretch to say that there is a racial component to it however. It would be impossible to prove.

Maybe, but probably less impossible to get an injunction based on civil rights/discrimination/bias based solely on a proven wife abuser who is a white member of the Giants being given one game and an unproven black member of the Cowboys being given 6 games, both by investigations led by a known rabid Giants fan. Hmmmm? Think a judge may see enough there to halt everything and make the league explain themselves?

He still has to grow up. He needs to learn how to stay away from these situations that get him into trouble. A good first step is to stay out of the clubs.

I don't disagree but is he supposed to never date? How is he suppose to stay away from an ex girlfriend seeking revenge because he revoked her lottery ticket? If he didn't do it then he has nothing to stay away from.

I understand where you are coming from. But you can't just walk into a court and say these things. You need to be able to prove racial bias. You need evidence. Witnesses, documentation, etc.

And for the record, the Brown judgement was a total farce.

He needs to have better judgement with who he hangs with. He needs to be able to recognize those who see $$$$$ when they give him a wink and a smile.

It can be done. The vast majority of NFL players know how to stay away from potential trouble. Zeke isn't there yet. Lets hope he learns soon.

Not to get the injunction you don't. You file the lawsuit, seek the injunction based on the irreparable harm he will suffer and the appearance of discrimination, bias, and disparate treatment under a CBA. The proof is the different punishments. That allows you to seek the evidence of intention and/or collusion by deposing witnesses and othe discovery means. It all a huge long shot because I doubt Zeke would want to go down that road.
