I know there's this myth that Romo is more clutch than choke. Well, on First Take they just read an interesting stat. Romo has thrown 7 INTs in the final minutes of the 4th quarter with a small lead or the game tied. That's more than twice as many as any other QB since 2006. There's no defending the man as not being a choke artist. Two INTs in the final four minutes of yesterday's game. A bad throw to a wide open Miles and a poor decision to throw to Beasley who wasn't open.

Most teams run the ball with the lead in the 4th Qtr.

Of course, Mr. Clutch Brady has finished 3 games this year with INTs, and should have had a 4th if New Orleans hadn't been stupid and given him another chance.

I watched the Patriots game yesterday. He threw an INT in the end zone on a desperation play in the final seconds of the game when they needed to score. Sure, it was an INT but he did lead his team downfield with 1 minute to play.

Romo likes to throw ill advised picks at the beginning of the drive on his side of the field when it wasn't even necessary to make the throw.

And the first INT is why they were losing. But it's cool. I see you'll defend Romo to no end so no sense arguing.

Right. The first INT was a terrible throw. He should have set his feet. He screwed up. I am not going to defend that at all. But this is a another lack of context stat.

Yawn, already been debunked as a BSPN stat. No context, and inaccurate as well.

The first INT went off of Witten's hands and was a good throw. Not exactly Romo's fault.

It's cool, you'll take every measure possible to blame Romo for that game.

I said it years ago, and i will say it now. Cowboys will never even get close to winning a championship with Romo at QB.he is not a winner.this guy finds ways to lose games. he is a choker and a loser.

Really? So he has thrown 7 int's in 7 years and that makes him a choke artist? How many games has he won with a TD pass in those same years?

Huh? The first INT was a bad throw to Miles. The Witten one was dropped. It's cool you don't even know the plays.

Can you please source these stats? No other quarterback has thrown more than 3 INTs in the "final" minutes of the 4th quarter with a small lead or the game tied? I don't buy that.

I'm just relaying the stat. Since Romo supporters love stats. It said Romo threw twice as many as any other QB since 2006.
