Callahan has some ties to McCarthy's coaching circle though, right? Although I imagine he would never work for Jerry Jones again, same as Wade.

Jerry actually liked Callahan and respected him. Callahan just couldn't get along with Garrett.

and I thought I had heard that the Skins new coaching regime isn't keeping Callahan around and he is available. As promising as Columbo may be, he's not on Callahan's level.
I would not mind bringing Callahan back as OL coach, if he's willing and McCarthy is interested. A big mystery why the Skins prefer not to keep him.
