Why would Ware want to come back to this train wreck? He's tasted good coaching and is now reaping the rewards. I doubt very seriously he's going to get a SB win with the Bronco's because I see Seattle all over again. I hope Ware gets 10 sacks, but I do not want to see the Bronco's win another SB. Can't stand that team or their arrogant fans. Here in New Mexico, we'll see all the Bronco's crap pulled out of closets, packed away since their last SB appearance, and then it'll go right back in after Carolina hands them their butts and we won't see it again until they get to another SB. They're like Steeler fans here. Anyway, this team is nowhere close enough to waste money on Ware. He'd be stupid to come back here.....

Yeah that Denver D has sure sucked all year with his good guy attitude.

Oh...wait.

Ware has been a small part of that defense this season. I'm not saying he has been bad but he is not the face of that defense like he was when he was in Dallas.

Now I was considering making a seperate thread about this but I figured I would just say it here. Tony Romo touched on this a couple years ago when he said that if he went to another team and got a ring, it wouldn't feel the same. Could Ware feel the same way?

He played for the Cowboys for 9 seasons, the team that drafted him---the team that he broke sack records for and the team where he spent his best years but he took the easy way out and signed with a team that was already a Super Bowl caliber team just to get a ring? It does seem a little cheap to me.

I'm not taking anything away from Ware's career with Dallas, I wore his jersey and rooted for him every Sunday but even his most dedicated supporters should be able to admit that there were times in his career where our defense needed to make a stop to give Dallas a shot at great things---we needed that sack, we needed our all time sack leader to step up but he couldn't. Don't make excuses that he didn't have talent around him---he was a member of one of the better DLs in the league at one point with Ratliff and Spencer.

Ware spent 9 seasons with Dallas but at the end of the day, if the Broncos win, his ring is going to be from Denver. I don't think the accomplishment can feel as good as it would winning a ring on a franchise that you helped build. If Ware feels the same way, I could see him wanting to come back to win that ring with us. After all, he is respectful and loyal enough towards the Jones family to refuse to take calls from NFCE teams so it is not like he left on bad terms.

His most recent tweet sounds like he is thinking of the Cowboy fans right now...

It's not about 1 moment, but all the moments thru the years. Thankful for all the support along this journey. #SB50

Think you are looking at the issue as a Fan not a player.......By all accounts that I have read....Ware is very happy in Denver.......He has also said on several occasions, there is a different way of doing business in Denver. From the weight room, to the practice, to the front office. .... IMO.....its like growing up and going to College in one state and moving on to a career in another. He will always respect Dallas but Denver is were he lays his head, got a great career and reaching a new level and championships. Opportunities that Jerry Jones and the Cowboys did not give him and can not give him.

Ware had one good game against an awful tackle.

He'll disappear in the Super Bowl like he has most of the season.

I don't really believe it. Players always say positive stuff when they switch teams.

There is still a high likelihood Denver is going to release him or ask him to take a pay cut this year.

I'm happy for Ware. He should finish his career with Denver if he wins a superbowl. When we let him go he wasn't playing well. It was time for both sides to move on. No turning back now...

From what I remember he got hurt early in that season it was his first year in a 4-3 and he was considered light for the RDE.

It's cool tho we got Greg hardy :\

This feels dirty

He was king of two sacks in the fourth quarter down by 28.

Almost no signature plays in Dallas. Mostly just stat padding in garbage time.

once again, cocaine is a helluva drug.

It's the truth. He had the huge game against Philly early on. He had that cool interception return against Atlanta. And..............what? Just a bunch of meaningless nothing.

I watched King Dunlap own him. I watched multiple backups and third stringers that last year here own him. Always hurt and always disappearing.

And last weekend aside, he's done very little in Denver, especially considering that paycheck he's getting. Same old stat padding at meaningless moments WHEN he manages to be healthy.

@toddarcher With the @Broncos having several free agents is it possible @DeMarcusWare returns on a 2-3 year deal with Dallas? #cowboysmail

11:23 AM - 20 Jan 2016

@toddarcher: I like this question and it's something I wondered about when I wrote about DeMarcus Ware earlier in the week. Let's go with the thought that he won't be back in Denver for the sake of this question. Should the Cowboys consider him? Absolutely. Ware will be able to roll out of bed and get seven sacks. The Cowboys don't really have that kind of guy. The length of the deal doesn't concern me so much. The money involved would. Ware had 7.5 sacks in 11 games in 2015. And I can hear those screaming about Ware not fitting in a 4-3 scheme. Please. Let him rush out of a two-point stance if he wants. It doesn't really matter. He would be signed to be a pass-rush specialist and his snaps would be monitored.

Can the Cowboys defensive brass inspire DWare the way (*gasp*) Wade Phillips has in Denver?

No

I'm serious. List the top five signature plays in Demarcus Ware's career in Dallas. You can't.

But I'd bet you can for Dez, Romo, Lee, Witten.....shoot, you can almost do it for La'el Collins.

Ware evaporated into thin air when the Cowboys really needed him to be dominant. He wasn't.
