Why couldn't the great Zeke?

In games where we gave the ball to Zeke 8 times or more in the first quarter we fell behind.

That’s rich, considering Dak’s worst completion percentages was his first ten attempts at a 58.1 completion percentage. He threw 70% between 21 and 30, meaning pretty much in garbage time.

Now you understand... Tanmehil didn’t have the roster like Mariotta or Dak..

Marriotta sucks big time. I have always liked Tannehil. Tennessee for the last 3 or 4 years had had a great team, they just had a $h!t QB. Solid defense and very good coaching. They were ripe for dropping in a quality QB and making a run.

Cowboys the last 4 years have had one of the worst coaching staffs in the NFL and didn't have the defense.

Not sure whether you can grasp all that.

You mean like Henry with Mariotta this year with his whopping 3 YPC average...

You sound horribly uneducated.

Touting Tannehill as some savior sounds silly. He solidified their offense and the team as any good veteran QB should do. But in the playoffs he threw for the following numbers in the 3 playoff games:

Wild Card Game= 71 yards
Divisions Round= 83 yards
Conference CH= 210 yards

And yet who exactly was slated by the experts to go farther? And Mariotta was a 9-7 QB himself the year prior.

Yes, he’s supposed to have superpowers and he able to flight high and leap tall buildings.. You win..
Yeah a stacked box is his kyrptonite. He would be a bust if he had to face the amount of stacked boxes Henry faces. Baltimore stacked the box 63% of the time in the playoffs against him and Henry ate them up for almost 200 yards. Zeke can’t do that.

BTW, how are they stacking the box that often against a great QB like Tannehill?

Point is pretty obvious. Coaching matters and your point that Dak had a better team is laughable.

And that theory is proven when you see quite clearly that in the 3 playoff games the Titans were in, Tennehil did diddly and they won 2 of the 3 and nearly advanced to the SB.

You can throw for 71 yards and have a high passer rating. I guess all this stuff just goes over your head.

Better than 8-8..

LOL...……..you are pretty good at math. Care to look up the dolphin records under Tannehills tenure?

And wasn't the great Zeke leading our team in that 8-8 year?

Tannehill produced a 5-6 record when under center with the Dolphins for 11 games in 2018.

In 6 years as the dolphins QB Tanny had 1 winning record.

The Titans went up 14-0 because Tannehil threw two TD passes, including a 45 yarder. Now you are getting it..

Henry also ran for 85 yards against the Chiefs..

It was Dak’s team supposedly this year... Who said Tannehil was a GREAT QB... You guys are proving the point. What would Dak’s record be on Miami?

How many yards did Zeke run for against the Broncos? Did he get double digits?

You mean when Denver said they weren’t even going to bother with Dak and then Dak threw 2 INTs for a TD return and was on pace for setting the record and then Linehan took the ball out of Dak’s hands...

So your saying great RBs have off games, including Henry.. and the standard of greatness isn’t that they can’t have bad games.. wow.. Do you even know why you are arguing anymore?

ok rephrase the question. Where was said RB taken in draft how big of a headache has their off field actions caused respectively. Im thinking emmitt was taken at 17 and Zeke 4. i digress cause we are talking about 2 different eras and comparing the 2 is pointless. Not sure what the intent of original poster was unless its to troll those that don't care for zekes behavioral issues and the fact that he didn't show up in shape in 2018 or that he has declined as much as he has since 2016.

and why does it always have to be a zeke vs dak thing? regardless of the topic intent it always end up that way in some fashion. oh wait i know why

Yeah Dak sucked. Did Zeke not suck?

Let’s see if you can admit it. We might be looking at history on the zone here.
