The 49ers aren't going to let Lloyd get away. He's just about the only offensive weapon they have. He's on the verge of a Chad Johnson caliber breakout if he had a QB that could get the ball to him. .

Lloyd has become a fan favorite around these parts. However, if I'm not mistaken the 9er's don't have a ton of money to throw around this offseason.

He may be the man here but he'd be crazy not to take a dip into FA to see what his market value is.

The Rams will resign Curtis because Bruce is about done. How about Korean Robinson?

I wouldnt mind bringin in Lloyd, he is talented, and just needs to be with a more successful team, get his morale up. The kid's got talent, and he is young as well, that would be a great pickup if we could bring him in.
As for warrick..................NO!

And what drug was he addicted to?

Watching him during the second half of the season it sure looked to me that he made the most of his 2nd chance. or whatever chance you want to call it. So much so that it got him an invite to the Pro Bowl.

If there were football forums 15 years ago I'm sure that they'd be saying the same thing about Chris Carter, or Irving Fryer.

I'd prefer a young, up and coming talent with speed and punt return ability. Crayton will be able to take over Key's spot, but they don't have a guy to stretch the field once Glenn retires. Plus, Crayton was one of the worst punt returners this season.

Some things are more important to a team than how well you play the game.
Just ask the Eagles.

Here's the mistake teams make with free agent wideouts: they sign a career number 2 like Alvin Harper or Peerless Price and expect him to perform like a number 1. Likewise, teams will overpay Randel-El to be a number 2 wr when we all know he's a number 3 slot guy. Owens is the only true number 1 guy out there--or will be shortly.

The same is bound to happen to Reggie Wayne also.

But we need a formidable #1 and #2.
I like Lloyd as a future #2 behind Glenn, possibly #1.

Or I suppose that we could just ask Parcells about how important it was for him when he had L.T.

And it's a little unfair to call someone a drug user when you (or the NFL for that matter) have never come up with any evidence to substantiate that claim.

Robinson is battling alcoholism while T.O. is battling stupidity. Huge difference.

Koren Robinson has been given countless chances. Through dropped passes, tardiness, more dropped passes, a drug suspension, and finally a trip to rehab this spring, the Hawks have stuck by the man who might be the most talented wide receiver on the roster.

The drunken driving arrest was only the latest problem for Robinson, the ninth overall pick in the 2001 draft by Seattle. He was suspended for four games last season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, meaning his next positive drug test would lead to a one-year suspension, and he also served a Seahawks-imposed suspension for two other games after missing team meetings.

Do your homework.

ANd alcoholism, drug abuse, stupidity... it all equals the same thing on the playing field and in the locker room.

And what would that be?

Did it equal the same thing for Bret Favre? And we all know how your formula of alcoholism, drug abuse and stupidity tore apart the Giants locker room when L.T. was painting the town white.

Why the very heart and soul of the Cowboys for many years, Michael Irvin, wrecked this team with his drug abuse. Right?

It's always been funny to me to see these holier than thou post. Robinson is a young man who's made some mistakes and has made an attempt to correct those mistakes.

Maybe I'm pulling for him because his situation hits so close to home for me. God, I’m glad that a few people still believed in me when I was in my early 20’s and making all kinds of mistakes, and I’m sure that there are others, in fact many here that are just as thankful as I am. But the fact is, you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about when you fling out these 'opinions' about his character. Google that!

Now, you do a little homework on that Quicky ;)

Not T.O.
Not Antonio Bryant.

RFA Brandon Lloyd (San Francisco)
Speed. Quicks. Hands, hands, hands.
Lloyd is an up and coming star (IMO) with Terry Glenn-like circus grabs and excellent speed. He has been underrated and overlooked alot because of his team and their QB woes. Exactly what the Boys need IMO.

UFA Peter Warrick (Seattle)
Another speedy WR with great hands and quicks. He was injured the season before last (chin) when he was with the Bengals. He never fully recovered until last season when Cincinatti released him as a result of Houshmanzadeh stepping up to the task. He was then aquired by Seattle who used him sparingly behind starters Jurevicious and Engram. IMO he required a little more time to get back from his injury. If he is fully healthy now, he could be signed for a cheap price. Excellent option for Dallas as well. Former 1st round pick (#4) in 2000.

I don't favor either, both are mediocre receivers

we'd be better off developing a younger, more explosive threat, seems that Warrick's knee/leg, whatever it was, injury problems, have robbed him of his quickness, and Lloyd doesn't have any exceptional qualities either
