Two More Games

Yay he gets to comeback, keep us from getting a top five pick, and probably get hurt again.

The way I see it, if we loose the next two games, I sit Romo, Dez for the rest of the year....I let Randall Gregory fully heal then get him experience towards after that and let games fall where they may. I am not an advocate for tanking the season, but I would rather get Romo and Dez completely healthy for next year's run than expose them to further injury because we wanted to get them back on the field sooner...The only thing that would be more devastating than missing the playoffs this year, is missing the playoff this year and have Tony and/or Dez injured in December and being out for all offseason workouts, training camp and the start of the season next year.

I've come to the conclusion that we'll still be in great shape in the division as long as we stay within 2 games of the division lead (1.5 games within NY since they played an extra game). We're already 1.5 back behind NY so we can't afford to drop farther. Fortunately, they play the Patriots in two weeks so we should be in good shape as long as we win at least one of the next two games (1-6 without Romo isn't asking too much, is it?). We're only a game behind Philly and Wash. Wash doesn't scare me because we play them twice when Romo returns. Not to mention, they play the Patriots this week. A loss to the Eagles this week could give us quite a scare because it'd put us 2 games back and then they could make it 3 games if they beat the Dolphins and we lose to the Bucs the following week. But, like I said, one win in the next two weeks would assure us to stay within 2 games of Philly and Wash (and within 1.5 the Giants if the Patriots do their part). Now, going 0-7 without Romo would make things very difficult to climb out of.

You think Romo would be happy sitting on the bench for 7 games when he rushed back from injury and thinks he's healthy enough to play? He can barely stand watching from the sidelines with his arm in a sling.

We're quitters because we realize this joke of a team can't win one game without Romo? Okay then. It's been five games. If they were gonna win one without Romo they would've won one by now. They suck.

We've gotten blown out once, and that was the Patriots. Every other game we have played has been winnable. Just as easily as we lost 5 in a row, we could win the next two

You're wasting your keystrokes here bud. I'm not sure what purpose it serves for all these people to go into Every. Single. Thread saying the exact same things. If these people are done with the season, they should just do us a favor and go hang out in the rant zone.

The team has quit. The recievers (TWill and Beasley mainly), our pass rush, our lack of turnovers, the non existent coaching, etc.
This is complete nonsense. None of those have quit. You specifically point out Williams and Beasley which shows me you have no clue what is actually happening. Go watch some All-22 and see all the open recievers being missed, including those two and come tell me again how they've quit. For a team that has quit, they sure do hang around in every game. They must be damn good if they can quit and still only lose by 1 score.

You don't sit Romo or anybody the rest of the season, even if we're 2-7. I just have an uneasy feeling about the season, even Romo. I'm scared bc he's always one hit away from being done for the year.

I said MAINLY those 2 (as in recievers) Einstein. Being open is going to the spot where the qb is comfortable getting the ball to them. It's obvious Weeden and Cassell aren't comfortable going downfield and finding them. Where are the slant routes for Beasley or Williams? Where are the underneath sideline routes?

Reason the scores are close is because of our d. (without a pass rush last 2 games also)

I would say with how we have played, winning out with Romo is definitely not out of the question
