Two More Games

This is the same guy who got all over another poster for predicting an injury last week.

At least I'm not making excuses for this pathetic losing streak.

I don't see the point in bringing Romo back because it's clear this team is finished.

I hope you are right 100% But his best year (last year) was with a power running game . Now that it seems we don't have that, I'm hoping when he does return the staff don't put it all on his shoulders.

Romo is what made the team go last season, not Murray. The OL and scheme also had a lot to do with Murray's success, as evidenced by both McFadden and Randle having more yards almost halfway through this season than does Murray... Despite playing 5 out of 7 games without Romo, the Cowboys are still 6th in rushing, and 6th in ypc, and they're trending upwards... Also, how many of Murray's yards were eventually negated by his 5 lost fumbles, really 6 fumbles if you count the crucial fumble he had against Green Bay in the playoff loss...

It was really all on Romo's shoulders last season too... This season it's obviously still on his shoulders, but I would contend that this season the weight is lessened a little because of the defense.

This whole rant you're on is incredibly ironic. You claim the team should just tank/give up, yet your avatar has Dez with the word Fight in it... Might be time for a new one if thats your outlook.

And yet, despite quitting, we've been in every game outside of one. Good observation.

ok, let me make this real clear to you. There is only 1 reason for the lost column, it holds the number of losses your team gets. It doesnt hold the moral victories, or fans opinions of the game, or even the hurt teams feelings. a loss is a loss is a loss. They dont care how you accumulate them, they dont care if you are proud of them or if its your goal You get a number relative to the number of losses you have on the season.

Thats all. There is no parade, fixing it, hope. Its a loss, not feeling show. Whether you are comforted by teh fact you loss by a half a point or by 50 points. the score doesnt go in the column, just the loss. So the fans going "BUT WE WERE IN IT" Doesnt matter. Doesnt even compute. doesnt even make the feeling chart. Its a loss, nothing more.

That's not what we are discussing, genius. We are discussing quitting.

Losses =/= quitting. Great that you missed the point completely. You're on fire with stupid posts though, so I guess you didn't want to break the streak.

Sure if we're on a seven game losing streak. Why risk bringing the guy back? do you honestly think they can win out? They need to win one of those games. Enough excuses. Go out and win a football game. We're playing two teams just as pathetic as us. Win one of them. I've just seen nothing to indicate they can do it. They will find a way to lose as always.

If we lose these next two games, then it wont matter because the season is over

Yep, he'll come back in just enough time to screw us out of draft position.

Quite honestly if we're not making the playoffs then there's no reason to rush him back.

At least bank a high draft pick so that this season wasn't a complete and utter waste.

Don't worry, RunDMC will be right back to the biggest homer in the world if we beat the Eagles.

The flip flopping is funny though, I give him that.

I have to agree. He turned slightly after 4 then completely after 5. He was a diehard before that even starting a couple of ra ra threads.
I miss that guy.

We lost by a total of 8 points in the two. Each game there was an egregious wrong call that, in the Giants game took 7 off the board and plenty of momentum, then the fake timeout that costed us more momentum and and possibly 4 points. Excuses or reasons. Whatever. We could have won either game and that should indicate to you we can.

Others are right. You're all over the place. You need to chill. We are all mad and disgusted but I think we're too talented to not make the playoffs.

We've got this and it will be one the the most rewarding seasons ever. Even if we only take it one step closer to 6.

I do worry a little bit about rustiness (or stiffness) for Romo in these first couple games, but I don't know, this is the same guy that went 12-15 for 201 yards in the 4th Quarter and OT to beat the 49ers, and this is all while playing with broken ribs and a collapsed lung! Romo told Brady "see you in February"... We've not seen much of this Tony Romo... This Tony Romo is monolithic in his approach to the game and to the season... This Tony Romo knows he might be the very best QB in the NFL right now... This Tony Romo is on a mission, and he truly believes that he will succeed, not next year, not someday, but this year, and every year that follows... I also think Tony is looking at this defense and thinking, "if we can manage to get in the playoffs, we could actually win a Super Bowl with this defense"....

You are overrating this defense

I watch and cheer every game. I don't play so quitting or not isn't even relevant. This is simply a poorly led bad team.

Fine. You all win the argument for quitting. We understand if we don't go to the game we most likely don't have any affect on the team winning. I feel the team feeds off of positivity around them from the fans, and media. To each his own.

They're top 10 and after Hardy they've consistantly inproved.

They collapsed at the end of 3 of the 5 losses. Championship defenses which they were being compared to dont do that. Hence overrated when someone is silly enough to call them a Super Bowl defense

They allowed 13 points in each. When they were scored is irrelevant. 13 is good.

Maybe, but I don't really think so... I'm not saying they're world beaters, but with our offense and time of possession, I think they could be good enough... When Romo looks at it he's probably thinking he was somewhat close last season, and this year's defense is quite a bit better and trending upward...
