Two More Games

I said MAINLY those 2 (as in recievers) Einstein. Being open is going to the spot where the qb is comfortable getting the ball to them. It's obvious Weeden and Cassell aren't comfortable going downfield and finding them. Where are the slant routes for Beasley or Williams? Where are the underneath sideline routes?

Reason the scores are close is because of our d. (without a pass rush last 2 games also)

So you want the recievers to not run the plays called and free lance? That sounds like a great plan. Has it ever occurred to you that teams are sitting on these shallow routes BECAUSE the QB won't look deep? They are turning receivers loose 20 yards down field and you're saying that they aren't open because the QB won't throw there? What do you want, 4 recievers running 5 yard routes?

You just said the team has quit, including the pass rush, but somehow the defense has kept them in games? These teams they're playing must really suck to barely beat a team thats mailing it in.

Hopefully with two mediocre teams on the slate things bounce in our favor. If we take the next two and Romo returns at 4-5, we would be poised for a run

Not just mediocre teams, but a reprieve from upper tier QBs. When Matt Ryan is the worst QB you face in a 5 game stretch, thats tough even with Romo in. They go from Ryan, Brees, Brady, Eli and Wilson to Bradford and Winston. That should help at least some.

I hope the Boys light the NFL on fire when Tony comes back. I think he will be a little rusty and maybe a bit gun shy.
So if he looses even one game ( chances are we won't win one with out him) we are done any way.

We're quitters because we realize this joke of a team can't win one game without Romo? Okay then. It's been five games. If they were gonna win one without Romo they would've won one by now. They suck.

You're just saying "it's been 5 games", but you're not looking at those opponents and then comparing the difficulty of those games to the next 2 games... I think our next 2 games are by far the two most winnable games during Romo's absence...

The previous 5 games were against teams who are all currently .500 or better... All 5 teams had Pro Bowl QB's... 4 out of 5 had Super Bowl winning QB's, with 6 Super Bowl MVP's amongst them....

Now we get two teams who are both currently below .500... One team has a mediocre QB who is scared and made of glass, and the other was the worst team in the NFL last season and is starting a rookie at QB...

We'll win our next 5 games at least...

I thought a lot of the easier Romo-less games were imperitive to win, given the improbability of running the table against the likes of Carolina & GB, but there is no question that Sunday is a must win.

Every post I read from you is negative. I think we get it. You're unhappy and everyone needs to know it. o_O

I'm not unhappy. I'm disgusted. If they come out and play well against Philadelphia and win I'll openly acknowledge that I was wrong in not believing them, but you gotta show me. Show me you can win without Romo. Show me you can persevere and not fold. Show me. WIN A GAME. We just need one.

I do worry a little bit about rustiness (or stiffness) for Romo in these first couple games, but I don't know, this is the same guy that went 12-15 for 201 yards in the 4th Quarter and OT to beat the 49ers, and this is all while playing with broken ribs and a collapsed lung! Romo told Brady "see you in February"... We've not seen much of this Tony Romo... This Tony Romo is monolithic in his approach to the game and to the season... This Tony Romo knows he might be the very best QB in the NFL right now... This Tony Romo is on a mission, and he truly believes that he will succeed, not next year, not someday, but this year, and every year that follows... I also think Tony is looking at this defense and thinking, "if we can manage to get in the playoffs, we could actually win a Super Bowl with this defense"....

I bust chops a lot but I hope you are right. But he's not getting any younger. As I got older I thought I could still do things to.Then reality sets in.

Right, but Romo's not the same as you and me, he's a bonafide Jedi Knight, and the force is very strong that one... Again, Tom Brady's 38yo, does it look like he's about to retire? There's no reason why Romo at 35yo can't also play at a very high level for another 3-5 years...

Brady has avoided injury most of his career. I hope the FO isn't thinking they really have that much time with Tony. I'm one of his biggest fans but I don't think he has it in him.

Only time will tell, but I feel very confident based off things Romo has said previously, that he'll be our starting QB when we start the 2018 season, and probably even the 2019 season... I know the back issues and what not, but I also saw Tony have an MVP worthy season immediately following his most recent surgery... I also saw him juke JJ Watt out of his jockstrap last season... Age has slowed him a little bit, and the team has to limit his risk, but I definitely don't see a guy whose body is on the verge of giving out...

Give me the Tony Romo that showed up after his most recent back surgery any day and all day over the previous years Tony Romo... Not that I'm implying that he was ever bad at all, he's always been really good, but the difference is what Romo now has between the ears... I don't think we're seeing a diminished version of Tony Romo, the 35+ years old version of Tony Romo is actual the best we've seen, and the best is still yet to come.

I hope you are right 100% But his best year (last year) was with a power running game . Now that it seems we don't have that, I'm hoping when he does return the staff don't put it all on his shoulders.

You're wasting your keystrokes here bud. I'm not sure what purpose it serves for all these people to go into Every. Single. Thread saying the exact same things. If these people are done with the season, they should just do us a favor and go hang out in the rant zone.

This is complete nonsense. None of those have quit. You specifically point out Williams and Beasley which shows me you have no clue what is actually happening. Go watch some All-22 and see all the open recievers being missed, including those two and come tell me again how they've quit. For a team that has quit, they sure do hang around in every game. They must be damn good if they can quit and still only lose by 1 score.

They could go to the rant zone or jump off a cliff.
