It’s early I know but TG has all the traits of a bust. It seems like all the negatives coming out of college were true and he brought them all to the NFL. Mentally he is weak and immature and that will never work in the NFL at tackle. I haven’t given up on Mazi but Guyton looks like a big mistake.

Talk me down.

Hard to say just yet. We knew he needed work coming out of college. And getting thrown into the fire starting at LT isn't easy. He will be much better next year after a full off season. It's possible the Cowboys move him to the right side and slide Tyler over. It's just far to early to say he will be a bust. He's shown the ability to play in this league. That's a good start.

I just don’t see it at all. He has red flags everywhere. The hope was that it’s just immaturity and boredom in college. He brought it all to the NFL and is getting abused out there.

They put him into a position to sink or swim.

He was a right tackle in college, and not a finished product.
What does this front office do? Plug him at Left tackle and hope for the best.

He doesn't look good, but most rookies, outside of the Jake Long polished guys, will struggle at left tackle.

I haven't soured on him yet. IMO, move him to RT in 2025 as Steele is awful now. goes back to his college side.
Move Smith back to Left Tackle in the meantime. I will take a very good LT over an great guard anytime.

No, he's not. Guyton wins a majority of his snaps. He simply needs time and experience to get better.
Oh no we are seeing the game differently here. He is weak as hell. Stands up too straight. Lunges. His feet are awful. Add the mentally soft stuff to the mix i respectfully disagree.

The mentally soft would be my biggest concern because as we all know, that can't be coached out at this point
