Certain positions get over drafted. QB and OL to name a couple. I do seem to remember Tyler was a concensus late first round pick, with some having him mid first. The only real knocks on him were penalties and level of competition. The bottom line though is when in doubt, what does his tape and your eyes tell you?

Something that has jumped with Tyler that sometimes gets missed in evaluations in the media and amongst fans is football character and being a self starter.

He hired renowned OL guru Duke Manyweather for training and development. That is a big reason why he has been able to come in an play LT when the Cowboys had working him at LG exclusively. And as far as OG goes, he attached himself to Zach Martins hip during OTA and camp.

Cowboys drafted a pro's pro. Thats not something most media scouts and fans will really see
