Despite the 2 penalties one of which was questionable. He’s a rookie and will make mistakes but he’s going to be the starter.
Yeah I’m not as concerned yet but this team can’t afford to be the most penalized team in the league. Just can’t.With what happened last year and the playoffs, we are obviously sensitive about penalties, and rightfully so, but I agree with OP, Tyler actually played well IMO.
He is going to get penalties...unavoidable. But if he is going to destroy people all game, i dont care.Yeah I’m not as concerned yet but this team can’t afford to be the most penalized team in the league. Just can’t.

If they lead the league in penalties again this year just concede the season. How they even won 12 games is beyond me but you will not beat good teams being the most penalized team every week.He is going to get penalties...unavoidable. But if he is going to destroy people all game, i dont care.

I agree with you and I’m not panicking or anything like that. I’m just saying it’s a little unsettling that guys playing for their jobs are committing penalties.Agree 1000% but I'm not sure it is fair to compare tonight with what happened last year entirely. What happened last year was with the starter, not so much tonight. IF this is still an issue after game one.......I'm concern
He wasn’t going to go from racking up penalties to not getting any. Let’s just hope we see improvement there this season.Didn't this dude rack up the penalties in college and he got 2 more tonight!

On pace for 34 penalties for the year nice
