Don't know how this D will be able to stop the Chicago offense. It may come down to who has the ball last.

Maybe. Chicago doesn't spread you out and beat you with speed. We'll know were these guys are and we'll know were they're going. Can we physically match up will be the key.

We need to get out with a W and win at least 2 of the next 3. I won't complain about an 11 win season!

Agreed.

As long as we stay away from complicated schemes we'll be ok as far as actually covering a guy.

Chip Kelly was just too much today.

The part that pisses me off is McCoy hasn't had a good season. He was averaging 4 ypc.

Not sure if it'll matter. But Chicago losing today ended their season. Dallas getting embarrassed today will put them in a do or die situation. They have played well in those situations in the past. Winning in Philly will be tough but not impossible. Even still. Find a way to win 3 out of the next 4 and they'll probably get in the playoffs. That's all we can ask right now.

I take it the 49ers season is over as well? Not to mention the Cards who were so horrible last week.

Actually. I think the 49rs are done. Maybe not technically. But they are just not a very good team. I think we all see just what kind of QB Kap really is.

I don't know why I think anything will change year to year when this team is still under the same ownership, management and head coach it's been under the last four years but once again I was drawn in hook, line and sinker.

The game today was typical of this franchise. This is what they are now. When they need to get it done to take that next step on the path to something special they are consistently caught with their pants down. Darth Jones runs his mouth talking about how the team prepared for the Eagles during the bye yet the team comes out as unprepared and disinterested as I've seen.

I've always held out hope that this team would find lightning in a bottle despite Jerry Jones but I think that's impossible now. The only way this team will break free of permanent mediocrity is if Darth Jones sees the light, hands over GM duties to someone who isn't a complete joke and they bring in a coaching staff that focuses on an actual game plan each week instead of using the same predictable garbage play calling no matter the opponent.

I'm not trying to be overly dramatic or pessimistic, if anything I'm an optimist...but this team has been doing its best to suck the optimism right outa me. Yea I'll be watching this team every week and wishing for the best but I'm done letting them dupe me into thinking this year might be different.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ditto. I'm 52 and have been among the world's biggest Cowboy fans for well over 40 years. The last ten years or so have sucked most of the fun out of it. It's not that I'm a fair weather fan (i was around for the 80's and long before). It's the fact that the team is generally just good enough to give me hope every damn year that things will be different. They haven't been. We aren't the worst run team in the league, but I'd venture we're closer to the worst than the best. I guess that says it all. A perpetually mediocre team as a result of a perpetually mediocre organization. That's just maddening for a person like me that has loved this team for going on a half century.

Im with ya, this was very typical of this franchise......But DIG A LITTLE DEEPER....who scheduled this 4 game stretch.....look at the schedule. All prime time games.....

Sunday Night Giants vs Cowboys
Thursday Thanksgiving Cowboys vs Eagles
Sunday Night Bears vs Cowboys
Sunday Night Eagles vs Cowboys

So who exactly who wanted the Cowboys to play 4 prime time games in a row....not to mention 3 games in 12 days with the playoffs on the line.....who is setting this franchise up for failure.....NFL? or ? seems very coincidental to me.....is all about the show and someone wants to put on a show in prime time.....more than a championship. That or gambling he can have both....risk vs reward.

The game against the Bears is on a Thursday night so after that game we'll have 10 days before our Sunday night game at Philly.

I do think your overly dramatic. not that disappointment isn't understandable.
I thought this team preformed above my expectations for the season.
It has always been 2015/16 for me.This permanently mediocrity is so nihilistic
I can't really respond.Good luck change is coming.

Then can I ask who is going to overtake us? I will accept that the Lions are a playoff team (though they didn't score a TD in 2 games... and they haven't won in GB in decades.... but I will still buy it since their schedule is so easy) but the Seahawks still will be lucky to go 2-2 these last 4 weeks (Cards on the road, 49ers, Eagles on the road, and Rams who they have already lost too), 3-1 would be amazing and that's what it would take most likely. So if not us then who?

If Seattle only goes 2-2, that might be enough to knock us out.
