Andy and Mahomes are a big reason but let’s not kid ourselves.

Juju is a former Pro Bowler in the prime of his career.
Toney is a first round pick.
MVS speed deep threat who’s solid.
Skyye Moore is a first rounder.
Found Pachego in the 7th round who outproduced Zeke.

This is how you make up for Tyreke Hill. Had they for James Washington and Jalen Tolbert they would’ve been cooked. Simple roster management.

Mahomes makes everyone around him better.

JuJu is a glorified Noah Brown. Big slow slot guy.
Toney never plays
MVS is average
Sky Moore is a raw rookie

I love the mental gymnastics of the Dak-haters. Both Dallas and KC lost a pro-bowl-level receiver. KC replaced him with several solid vets and a first-round draft pick. Dallas replaced Cooper JAGs and a third-round draft pick. - And it's Dak's fault - it actually boggles that mind that Dak lives in some of your minds so much. Nothing at all about how Jerry and the FO dropped the ball, nothing about how we were still able to have an effective offense and win a playoff game. Just Dak sucks. Hilarious!!!
The mental gymnastics is trying to compare the two.

1. Mahomes
2. Reid
3. The Chiefs 1st rounder was a non-factor
4. The Chiefs number one is their TE.
5. The Cowboys still have a #1 receiver (and he is being ignored here).
6. The Chiefs threw more.
7. This also ignores Schultz, Gallup, Brown, Pollard.

Patrick Mahomes is widely known as the best quarterback in the league so why did choose a different strategy when they traded Hill than the Cowboys when trading Cooper?

They traded Hill and added JuJu, MVS in free agency then drafted Sky Moore in the 1st round and traded for Kadarius Toney during the season.

Those 4 players combined for 156 receptions 2041 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The Cowboys traded Cooper for a 5th rounder and added TY, Turpin and Washington in free agency, drafted Tolbert and Houston (udfa).

Those players combined for 12 receptions for 182 yard and 0 touchdowns.

Dak has his issues but this was a massive failure of the front office.
- Sky Moore was not drafted in the first round by KC Chiefs He was a 2nd rd pick.
At this point he is not a regular in their offense. .until injuries forces it differently. he's more a specialist, gimmick guy.

- Chiefs do not have a true lead feature WR right now. But they work by committment and collectively and succeed off their mega-talented QB , great offensive scheme, coaching.

- Toney has great quickness and elusiveness when healthy. Ju-Ju is a serviceable possession guy who along with the others helps in spots and occasions,
Valdes-Scantling was huge for Chiefs vs Bengals., speedy Hardman has been injured most of year, but he's a mere spot player. Watson =JAG
i didn't realize speedy ex-1st rd bust John Ross was on Chiefs roster. Very injury prone, very soft, and very minimal player skill. Just a jersey name.

- Turpin is not a true WR, he's purely a return specialist.. and can be a dangerous one if he totally untouched in the open field on returns.
- Gallup is a questionable route runner who clearly has not ACL recovered, and has separation issues.
- Lamb clearly emerged and proved he can be a legit featured pro bowl level WR. Would not known that if Cooper was still here, imo
- Washington was a bust FA, Tolbert very disappointing rookie year; Noah is more of a 4th-5th WR, Hilton will only get older and slower.
Simi is epitome of raw project JAG.

I love your out of the box thinking.
I know this front office would never do anything risky like that.
They will play it safe and be happy just getting into the playoffs.
We will never have a great team and will be a consistent one and done team.
It's not only that
I don't know that what kind of a contract Jerry is gonna sign Parsons too, that we're gonna regret 2 years later lol

Well I'll say it again I love Parsons , but I trade him right now for 2 number 1s
Every year he's going to be a little slower. He's getting dinged up. Some teams have neutralized him already.
I love the guy and I'm a defensive guy at heart. but sometimes if you want to stay on top, you gotta make the hard trades.
We could land the top quarterback in the draft next year.
Incoming
Every year ? Parsons has only been in NFL two years.
This is a guy that could/can easily be in the conversation of the Best Defensive player in the NFL every year ....and you want to trade him away ?

- What needs to happen with Parsons, is Quinn is gonna have to scheme and decide how to keep 340 lb OTs and double team chips/block downs off of
Micah on a down to down, game to game basis.
We cannot keep trying to use Parsons like a full time DE.

- Since we do not run a pure 3-4 scheme, that's why i purpose the way in how Von Miller has been best utilized,
..ditto with the Eagles with Hasson Riddick, ..guys who get their chances to go after QB, get the sacks, and are not tied up vs OTs on a play to play basis.

If the Cowboys had a quarterback like Mahomes, the Joneses would never pay for free agents. Jerry would pay him 60 million a season and Stevie would complain about the salary cap that his father set up. This board would blame the quarterback or coach for not getting to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys would be the talk of the talk shows though. Sound familiar?

Parsons is the Patrick Mahomes of defenders.

People who talk negatively about him are just football fools. He’s a generational talent as a pass rusher.

As a linebacker he’s a jag.

I hear ya, but he has elite speed for his size, and every year it will drop a bit. But what are u willing to pay? At what cost to the defense?
I'm thinking he may hold out this year, what's he worth?
I'd rather draft a QB who will allow us to be contenders for 10 years. At the same time add a middle collapsing DT.

It’s all about Mahomes and Andy Reid.

The names at WR do not matter. He’s that good.

IMO, he’s the most talented QB of all time and I’ve been saying that for years.
The WRs matter quite a bit.

MVS and Juju would both be starters here. We botched our Cooper replacement plan severely.

Ridiculous. He was drafted highly before he was put on the edge.

Mahomes is a given, but a lot of the success is because of Andy Reid.

He is the one who devises offensive schemes that put his players in the best position to win. That's how Tyreek Hill can be replaced by average players.

If Andy Reid were in Dallas, it would be Dallas that's making SB appearances not KC.

Put Dak there and Mahomes here.

We’d be dramatically better and they would be dramatically worse.

Their wideouts are very jaggy.
How do you not run out of pixie dust? Any more dream hypotheticals? You have no scale of reference.
We all know Mahomes is elite and Dak isn't. But you have not clue how things would be if they switch. And you wouldn't admit to anything but your bias.

Cause of his athleticism. His line backing instincts are nothing special.

His pass rushing instincts are as rare as it gets.

Had he been an edge guy in college he’s the first non QB drafted that year.
