Patrick Mahomes is widely known as the best quarterback in the league so why did choose a different strategy when they traded Hill than the Cowboys when trading Cooper?

They traded Hill and added JuJu, MVS in free agency then drafted Sky Moore in the 1st round and traded for Kadarius Toney during the season.

Those 4 players combined for 156 receptions 2041 yards and 8 touchdowns.

The Cowboys traded Cooper for a 5th rounder and added TY, Turpin and Washington in free agency, drafted Tolbert and Houston (udfa).

Those players combined for 12 receptions for 182 yard and 0 touchdowns.

Dak has his issues but this was a massive failure of the front office.

Thats BS. I'm here all year. Sure there is always a few but thats hardly the majority. When the team awards a contract that size, it is acting on information directly from the doctors involved in the treatment. There was ZERO reason to think Gallup would be as bad as he was this year.

You couldn't "know". You may have suspected or guessed correctly on Gallup. In any case, if Amari was only worth a 5th round pick , Gallups trade value was zero. A lot of people were unhappy with the Amari trade.

Lets not forget Andy Reid we all know his offenses has always been legit. I think in their system they can get production. Look at Tolbert as an example in our option route system. He can't pick it up and haven't sniffed hardly any playing time because of it. We need a system that takes pressure off the WR and QB both reading the defenders the right way. Let the QB read and have the WR run the route and let the route concepts get guys open. That way the QB isn't guessing if the WR is going to run what route.

Maholm's is a beat though but we can't forget Andy Reid. He is a offensive genius. He will go down as one of the best coaches in NFL history.

Garrett is an albatross on anything. Whereas Reid is a bonafide QB whisperer. Dak would be the best version of himself under Reid. Still no where close to Mahomes.
