I'm a skeptic...back etc will be fine, and then someone rolls up on his ankle or knee a few games in and here we go again...he doesn't play a position that is easy on his body unfortunately. He is one of my all times on this team, but I have no faith
That can happen to any player any time

None of us know the inside detail but the team didn’t draft an OT until the 4th. Plus that OT has some hair on him so they viewed as a project and not year 1 contributor. To me that says that the team believes Smith is ready to go. Even though he has appeared to be a broken player the guy is only 30. He hasn’t played in many playoff games. Missed a ton of games over the past 5 years. He might actually have some tread on the tire left and that is a really good thing.

I sincerely hope he proves all of his doubters, including me, completely wrong. A healthy Tyron for even 2 more seasons would be amazing. Hard to imagine after the last 5 years, but I’m rooting for him.

I have heard now numerous times Tyron is physically better than he has been in years.

I know, same old story for ever player, every off season.

However, Smith is actually backing it up with more participation in OTAs and offseason work than he's been able to do the last few years.

Nice factual reporting.

“He said the surgery has been all the difference and believes delaying it contributed to his plethora of resulting injuries.”

Apparently he is the only human on the planet who didn’t know this years ago.

Yeah if he comes back this year and makes pro bowl after having neck issues for almost 4 years he'd go down as one of the toughest players ever (would basically be frank gore level toughness)

Over or under at 11 regular season games played this year?
