I'll be the first to admit he played better than I dared imagine. However concerns about his availability has been proven yet again.

Tyron is still elite when he plays, the real problem is Jerry not finding a better backup than turnstile Edoga when it was obvious to anyone with a functional brain that 77 would once again miss multiple games this year.

This is just another failure from the front office, that's it.

We should have seen this coming a mile away. This is guy is bound together with baling wire and duct tape. Thanks to our moron owner and GM he saw fit not to upgrade the failing offensive line but went after multiple busts in the 2023 draft. Time to get rid of the demented JJ who along with his clown son need to sell.
" wire and duct tape " and yet Tyron has actually played at a All Pro, pro bowl level this year
Has yet to even allowed a single sack, but yet those lurkers seem to want to form a venom party against Tyron.

That's when it is up to the club to form a Plan B when/if Tyron becomes unavailable .

Which seems like a better Plan B ? ..Chuma or moving Tyler to LT in an emergency injury pinch ?

Agreed. I know they don't like moving folks around & I get that to an extent but you would think they would also understand that LT is a more important position. Of course, expecting them to anticipate that Chuma would continually blow assignments (seemingly deliberately) probably isn't fair either.

It seems like the narrative has shifted a bit on him this year. The people that want/wanted him gone didn’t think he was any good anymore or had severely fallen off. Now it’s just about missing games.

Granted it stinks, but you just need to find a quality back. That should be the focus. Not kicking him out the door. At worst he’s a 2nd team ALL PRO player this year.

The importance is my franchise QB,... one unblocked blow from a DE and we're going to Cooper Rush.

Look at what happened to QB Brock Purdy vs Eagles in the playoffs - ruined a possible Chiefs vs Niners SB last year.

I'll feel much better knowing we did everything necessary in our power to best protect Dak,

Counting on this once, and still occasionally great player was a tragic mistake by the GM. The glaring need on the OL was so obvious. At a minimum, quality depth was needed. The most recent draft was a big disappointment after several good ones.

The failure of the OL has crippled the offense, especially against good teams. Dak has been under far too much pressure. It's really frustrating watching the amateur GM ignore this issue.
Amateur GM.
That says it all.

I was pleasantly surprised by Tyron’s status this year
I do feel that him being gone has an impact but not as much as Steele being present does

The cowboys find themselves in a predicament . They are going to extend Dak

Have to pay 88 and possibly 11. Have to replace left tackle soon and the RG isn’t gonna be too far behind

The RT is garbage now and the center is average .

on the bright side we got one best LG in football

All this makes this past draft even more head scratching but Jerry is a dummy so i shouldn’t be shocked

I truly hope that some thing clicks with Richards because waletzko isn’t it
