I could not disagree more with this post. You don't make a multi time all pro "earn" his spot back. Maybe if Tyler was also playing at an all-pro level you would think this.. but I think we can all agree that while Tyler has been good for a rookie, he is not without warts to this point. If I can get 80% of Tyron Smith back I'll take that over what Tyler is doing right now. That's the bottom line to me. How much of peak Tyron do we get? If he can't get to a level that is better than Tyler then we can talk about sub packages and what not. But they should be able to see that in practice without too much trouble.
More pounding inside, not less. DTs bigger than DEs.

If Tyron Smith is going to be back at LT he needs to be activated and slowly worked back in starting off in Jumbo Package to see how he moves and if he still has power. If he excels in that and Tyler and Connor continues to commit penalties then bump him out as LT.

The same McCarthy that wont start Issac the next Larry Allen Alcaron? or The same McCarthy that wont put Joseph against Lamb because Lamb would be embarassed?

Or the same McCarthy that let Parsons get fat? LOL. Your posts are laughable

Lamb’s best catches came after the running game got going.

You are wrong, watch McCarthy put him in some goal line packages.
The Cowboys may very well put Tyron into goal line and other special packages his first week back, I don't know that you are wrong about that DA. It may be a good way to ease him back in. I think the issue is more about the idea that the guy has to earn his way back. If Tyron is healthy he is going in the game, and I see zero debate about that. It will have a lot more to do with getting him into shape than him earning it though. That is where I think the strong opposition to this post comes in at.

I’m not trying to replace Tyron Smith but he’s been suspect for a while now. You can’t just live on reputation and come up short in big games or be a complete liability because you’re always hurt..

nah, I got my doubts with the big guy.

I would put Tyron's future within the following probabilities:

10% - Tyron announces his retirement before the end of the season.

20% - Tyron does not perform well during his 21 day practice window and is placed on Injured Reserve, missing the entire season.

10% - Tyron is activated but they still want to wait a few weeks for him to be 100%. He goes through limited practice for a few weeks but does not play.

10% - Tyron is activated and slowly integrated back into the starting unit. He starts off with certain packages in a limited role.

30% - Tyron is activated and instantly starts at LT while Tyler is switched to LG. However, at some point in the regular season Tyron goes down again. The Cowboys are forced to put Tyler back at LT after playing LG for a number of games. McGovern, who hasn't played LG for that same number of games goes back into LG.

20% - Tyron is activated and instantly starts at LT for every remaining game for the Cowboys.
100 % probably that he is inducted into the HOF
First year he's eligible.

Tyron Smith is a future Hall of Famer. He's already earned it, when he's healthy enough to play.
yeah kinda like romo in 2016 ??

that is a bad way to look at it.
It isnt about him it is about the team and what is best for the team and winning.
But dont worry, if he is limping or has to be helped off the bench, he will start. lol jerry will demand it.
