This draft should interesting, would love to get a DT - if one is there thats worth it obviously - but if the Parsons showed anything, you go best player available.

Now the one thing that HAS to happen is - no more gambling with the 2nd round pick.

I get the frustration as he has some injury issues...but saying "Lets go draft another one" is crazy..think of all the OT's drafted since Smith has been in the league...how many of those are Smith talent right now? Same as always..you could get another Smith but more likley you get another Connor....If he is done you move on for sure.

Yawn.... What else is new...... I don't even consider Tyron Smith part of the team anymore.... he is injury prone garbage and has been for 3 years now.... He is the most unreliable player we have...The front office missed the boat 3 years ago on trading him for something at least....but our fearless GM loves to hold onto players too long...

Well, the Giants will be without DT Leonard Williams and probably WR Toney. And their starting QB Danny Dimes might not play.

Just go ahead and give Tyron Smith the rest of the regular season off. Might as well. Sean Lee Part Deux.

Neither of these players has been ruled out for Sunday. Leonard had tests on his elbow that came out better than expected and he may return this week to face Dallas. Leonard has not missed a game in his career so my guess is he will be motivated to play. Toney tested positive for the second time this season. His vaccination status is unknown. If he is vaccinated he can play Sunday, assuming he has recovered from his other injury, if he has 2 negative tests 24 hours apart.

Again, I don't know why the Giants would rush either player back onto the field but some teams are stupid I guess.

There is a lot of talk about Tyron being out, but no one wants to talk about the Cowboys reporting they may have a second look at the LG situation? We could see Connor Williams back at LG this week which is a huge admission that the Cowboys have no answers for the problem at that position.

Maybe Williams will play better after sitting on the bench for a few games.

If Williams (a former college OT standout ) is a OG reserve now, then Philbin probably should've had him get some reps as a utility emergency reserve.

the plan, and this is with all football teams at every level, Find the right combination of guys that can do the job on the oline. If we can do that again, we will help the offense immensely, including the run game and Dak. I agree 100% with quick passes. Thats the key. Lots of roll outs and boots, with quick screens/slants.

but...but...but....there are those that say he is still great....in spite of missing what will now be 4 games this season, 14 games last season, and 3 games in each of the seasons from 2016-2019......so he will have missed a total of 30 of his last 93 possible games......almost 33%!!!!!!!!!!

Great player, but Cowboys tend to hold on to their players a little bit longer and it always seems to come back and bite them. A lot of these greats are irreplaceable but it be nice if we had a plan on when we start trying to replace the position......Bellichek does this all the time...

Tyron Smith got paid....and 2 years later began getting injured regularly
Jalyon Smith got paid....and was released a few years later
Zeke Elliott got paid....and has been a shell of himself
Demarcus Lawrence got paid.....and became a run stopping DE (when he is on the field)
Amari Cooper got paid....and is beginning to miss games due to injury while seeing production drop
Dak Prescott got paid.....and is involved in a 6 game slump


When the hell will JJ see the error of his ways??????
