Dang Coog!! That's harsh!! What has Tyron ever done to you?AFTER THE FIRST INJURY this season, cut him!!!

They just drafted one. Additionally they love the depth and FA they just signed.Funny you say this ...........I know it's early ( way early ) but it appears 2024 will have a strong OT class. When Tyler is moved to back to his drafted position of LT, we will again be looking for a starting LG.
Exactly ..........coz I don't see them drafting an O-lineman that can only play G with a high pick.We know they had interest in Bergeron who also was a college tackle with the intention of kicking him inside, so it makes a ton of sense to think they could do the same in the future. Tackles are more athletic and usually have better footwork.
Who?They just drafted one
Think we just saw that in this year's draft with Torrence.Exactly ..........coz I don't see them drafting an O-lineman that can only play G with a high pick.
I thought last year was going to be his last after he got injured. No one talking much about it but it appears unless we extend/restructure, this is his final as a Cowboy.

Keep up...Who?
They already fully know his status...and will allow some game time for developing other players as well for the future. Smart management.I thought last year was going to be his last after he got injured.
Doubt they extend him.
The front office willprobably see what his health is like this season and how he performs. Then decide what they're going to do from there.
I'm trying ........Keep up...
What a useless move that would be.AFTER THE FIRST INJURY this season, cut him!!!
Love the guy, but he just can't stay healthy.Let's see how this year goes from a performance and more importantly health perspective before we make that decision, but as we sit here today, I think it's more likely than not that this is his final year as a Cowboy
They weren’t trading up for anyone. If anything they wanted more draft capital not less.A trade up in the 2nd round would have been in play for Steve Avila or Matt Bergeron. There's no certainty they would have just sat there at 2.58.
The next CBA really needs include some loyalty rewards to help keep older players around without affecting the cap.No one talking much about it but it appears unless we extend/restructure, this is his final as a Cowboy.

Great idea, guy. Leave the player a real choice, himself. The next CBA really needs include some loyalty rewards to help keep older players around without affecting the cap.
That would be brilliantAFTER THE FIRST INJURY this season, cut him!!!
I’ve always thought it’s beneficial to the game for players who want to, to play a career for a single team. The cap makes that really difficult to accomplish. How to fix it is complicated though and have an actual cap.The next CBA really needs include some loyalty rewards to help keep older players around without affecting the cap.
Again. You're viewing it AS IS, with Tyron Smith still on the team and starting at the LT position. I'm viewing the hypothetical scenario that they would have moved on from Tyron Smith before the draft---the entire draft plan would have changed. They weren’t trading up for anyone. If anything they wanted more draft capital not less.
